We didn't care, but keep in mind that there is a bit of a drive to the south and west beaches. Totally worth it though!

Perfect location to enjoy Maui's natural beauties, such as the sunrise on Haleakala's Crater and road to Hana, and to stay away from crowded, more touristy areas. The cottage was clean, very well equipped, and very comfortable for a family of four.

It was as advertised. Small room, shared bathroom/toilets, shared kitchen. But the facilities were all clean , the kitchen were well equipped. The host were very friendly and accommodating .

The kitchen was lacking in basic dishwares such as mugs, plates and bowls. I expected to bring my own food, but did not expect to need to bring a coffee mug. Coffee and tea were offered, but no mug? Frustrating.

I didn't like the breakfast but, for the price, it's to be expected. It's very simple - just two breakfast bars and fruit cups. The showers are all shared, so I guess it is like a hostel in that way (which I had never stayed at before), which makes me nervous during these times of coronavirus. I would suggest wearing sandals in the shower. Just a good practice for any shared facilities, though.

I liked how clean they kept the accommodations. We did find a very hidden tank top under the bed, but other than that you could tell they take pride in keeping the room clean and it has a refrigerator. They make sure each room is secure by giving you a code you have to use to get in. Also, there is a hot tub on the property that we didn't have time to experience, but it sounds nice and the view is great. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and when I left some things there, found them, so I could come back and pick them up. Also, we we were exhausted and needed to rest for a while. They were really accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier.

I realize Hawaii is expensive, but I thought the price was too high for the the facility. The room was very small and it wasn’t onsuite. The bathroom and showers were down the hall. I knew it wasn’t onsuite, but I had on-site and larger, nicer rooms for roughly the same price on Maui.

The facilities were great - a whole cottage for ourselves. However, we found out that the garbage, left ny the previous guest(s?) was still left in the garbage bean. Breakfast (it is titled B&B) was not sometning to talk about.

It really was a great value

It was a comfortable bed with the bathroom right next to our room. Great value for Maui. Just outside of town about 6 minutes, with a beautiful drive up to it. Great value.

I didn't realize that bathrooms and restrooms were actually shared. Noise was also clear and I woke up every morning by other people's activities.

The self check-in process was very smooth. The room was clean and cozy. The shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained. This was our second time staying here in a different room.

We found the place is really quiet at night, bed and pillow are very comfortable, price is good and shower is nice. We didn't meet the owner or any employees but we didn't have any trouble checking in. The room is small but we could pay a lot of more to get more space in other hotels, so no complaint. Just if you like a lot of space this place is not for you. Since we stayed here just for going to Hana and Haleakala so we are really happy with this place.

The peaceful surroundings of the Upcountry area of Maui provided a great atmosphere for relaxation. The night's are very dark which made sleeping very easy. The owner's of the property are very kind and compassionate--they shared the fruit growing on their property with all the guests. The property has a stunning view of the stars with almost zero light pollution. I was fortunate to have clears skies on the night of the New Moon--the stars above brought tears to my eyes.
