Strong cleaner smell could not open up the window.

The sheets were clean. The smell of fabuloso (cleaner) was very strong. I had some reservations at first because there was someone next to us talking rather loudly outside. I turned up the tv and went to sleep. Woke up at 12:30 and they had quieted so turned off the tv and quiet the rest of the night. The staff was very nice. Sheets and towels were very clean. Great place to stop on a trip. Just stayed one night from 9:30pm to 6am.

when booking at the locations i don’t like how the rates change when you book online or how it’s never updated… but i can say when i asked the staff to fix it they did i just had to keep asking

Check in was rough... I had the reservation for more than a day... You have to put up a deposit for the card key... ok... but I was departing at 5am and had to stand in the cold while they tried to determine if I had made a deposit...

easy on and off to 175....Nice staff... room was comfortable and the bed was good... Parking could be crowded but we managed... It was cold these days and I was comfortable in the room

Not much in the surrounding area. If you get given a low-numbered room, ask for a higher number, because 1 (my room) was right beside the freeway and it was incredibly noisy. I appreciate they are limited in what they can do but I find it hard to sleep.

Unfortunately it was the room closest to the freeway so it was noisier than the first time I stayed here but still not bad. Road noise did not interfere with my sleep.

I ended up getting a room that was in two parts with a nice little cove for just sitting. The air conditioner worked great.

It's at least 60 years old and very basic. It's on a feeder road so you can only approach it from One direction. It's in the value price category so some of your previous visitors didn't always honor the smoking policy as well as you might like, but the nonsmoker room itself only had the faintest hints of that. If I had Booked there a day sooner when it would have been $12 a day cheaper I would have been even more happy, but even their last minute rate provided good value.

It is well maintained and surprisingly quiet for how close it is to a big road. The owners or staff were very courteous. It seems to have been relatively recently renovated and the bathroom was very nice for a hotel this age.

The ONLY things: (PLEASE ACTUALLY READ - NOT BAD THINGS!!) 1. the A/C (which blows super cold and is absolutely wonderful) blows directly on the bed so it will freeze you out quickly! If you turn the temp down though, it stops blowing to maintain that temp and you go from cold to hot and back all night. Maybe put a deflector on the A/C unit and it would be perfect!! 2. Also, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so steam from showers may turn into a problem in the future. But, seriously, THESE ARE NOT actual complaints... Just suggestions for the property. We still had a wonderful night!

A few of the plugs in the room didn't work, I wish there were two arm chairs in the room. I took the arm chair from the sitting area and I slid it into the front room with the bed and the television. Other than these minor things, I have nothing negative to say. 😊

The Golden Inn was conveniently located between the cities that I had to travel to. It was clean, comfortable, and it had what I needed. It had an ironing board and iron! 😊 There were not a lot of frills, but the frills weren't needed. The room was nicely remodeled, I really liked the tile in the bathroom, and the seating area on the other side of the bedroom. I was able to park my car directly in front of my room door, which made unloading my items very easy. The manager (Inn Keeper) was courteous, informative, very accommodating, and made check in and check out, ultra easy. Even though every room was occupied, everyone respected each other's privacy, and bedtime, no loud talking, or music. I stayed in #1, at first I thought the road noise would be an issue, but once you close the door, watch some television and settle in, the noise becomes part of the background. I would definitely stay here again.

Gap under the door was high which allowed dirt and cold air into the room, had problems with inside bolt lock working, no key cards, but owner was in the process of having them installed.

Good location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, any problems I had were addressed immediately. I would definitely stay again.
