Wow! Just wow! We were so pleasantly surprised at this gem on the beach! To start off, the front desk staff made us feel like we were royalty! They were so kind. Our room was FABULOUS! So large and clean. There was so much room and space. Huge shout out to the Assistant Manager, Nicole for creating such an amazing atmosphere. We do not have enough compliments to give! Run! Don't walk to the Golden Sands Hotel!

Room had a sandy floor when we checked in, so we wore our slippers to avoid feeling like it would end up in our beds when we retired for the evening

The staff was friendly and so helpful! Any time we needed anything, they were fantastic at the front desk. They seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and it makes the process of checking in and checking out that much better.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. I had a couple of fish tacos from the restaurant and the tiki grill which was delicious and the drinks was on point. We enjoyed the quietness of the whole area and that we had a picture perfect bird eyes view of the beach. The direct access was a great bonus and there was plenty of seating on the pier near the tiki bar. The bartender was nice and it was a small crowd of people but everyone was having a good time. The AC in the room was great.

Elevator was down while our stay, wasn’t fun going up to the 5th floor up the stairs which wasn’t they’re fault so we understand

Staff was super nice and helpful! We got earlier check in thanks to them love the place. Restaurant and bar were great, great location. 3 min walk to little icecream shop and 3 minute house to a pancake house

Beds were large, but we found them uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. Pillows were really firm as well. I realize others may prefer really firm beds and pillows but we did not.

Loved the location to the beach and restaurants and boardwalk.

The location was excellent. There is a bike path across the street around a park that offered paddle boats. Shops and restaurants are all close partial walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant and tiki bar.

The location was perfect, the graphic on the buildings are so cool, The Golden Sands has their own pier with a yummy restaurant and bar! How unique!!

The things that were advertised weren’t there The tiki bar wasn’t open as advertised, the grill was overpriced and food so so. Access to the beach was blocked by excavator and lumber. Contraction started at 7 in the morning.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable to me. Way too firm. That my only complaint; oh and the balcony needs a little paint or something to liven it up. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will be coming back. The construction was a little off setting but I’m glad we didn’t let if deter us and still stayed

I loved how clean it smelled as soon as I walked into the office to check in and the cleanliness of my room. The staff was awesome and accommodating without making you feel like you’re being worrisome. Nicole greeted us with a big smile and went out her way to make sure we were comfortable. I really enjoyed her personality and attentiveness. We had a horrible food experience and she even recommended a way better place and it was a much better experience!!! This place is quaint, clean, and has a beautiful ocean view!!!!
