To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaIt is a bit of an "interesting" neighborhood BUT there is a wonderful Charleston's restaurant in walking distance. Great local hang out and good food. That balanced the location to good!
The breakfast was basic but good. Both hot and cereal options. Coffee, milk, juice for beverages. BONUS, they have a cold water jug (glug-glug) dispenser in the lobby. I was able to fill up my water bottle with quality, cold water.

United States of AmericaI chose a nonsmoking room and went outside to smoke in my vehicle. The owner of the property came outside to make sure that I was ok. That was appreciated. Especially concidering the fact that my guest had not arrived and I am a woman sitting outside alone.

We chose this hotel for the extra room provided in the suite - specifically to have a couch to relax on in the evening. The room was spacious and the staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaI have been using GS for years, and like every other business, giving up a little quality for a higher price is what we are all paying other than inflation. Breakfast has gradually declined in the quality and quantity since new management but the new chairs and tables are nice. Elevated gives a nice view of plants and interior but it's ruined by mildew and musty smell of elevator. I guess I. Like everyone else, can't wait until business and economic environment returns to normal.........
I'm glad that the cleanliness has been maintained at GS! The rooms are always clean and comfy. Is a good value for families. The cleaning staff for the most part is friendly, the front desk staff can be a little questionable but doable.

United States of AmericaThe staff took a while to check us in and longer to check us out. I think about 10-20 minutes wait to check in and then half an hour to check out. Not a lot of people there either, just didn't seem to be in any hurry to get up front.
Loved the jacuzzi area and the sauna (all in one spot) and the location of the hotel was right next to everything you'd need, lots of restaurants and even a couple grocery stores if needed.

United States of AmericaThere was nothing I disliked. It was excellent value for money so taking into account the price paid I was not looking for brand new fixtures and fittings. As it was the fixtures and fittings were worn, but clean and in working order, for me more of a home from home.
Very clean. My room was spacious as is the central floor. Staff didn't seem to stop, constantly tidying or making adjustments. Very quick to return to front desk when bell was rung.
