Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room wasn't exactly clean when we arrived. There was some leftover trash in the couch, chairs, and even the bed-- which was the most concerning. There were old vape pens everywhere. Because of this, we requested new sheets and changed the beds ourselves. Another outcome was that we ended up at CVS after check-in to pick up some cleaning wipes to clean the bathroom, tables, remotes, etc. I could have said something, but I am not that type. If I can fix it, I won't fuss. In this particular case, I should have drawn the line on day 3 when we found two additional vape items in the chair and what I can only assume is a slim jim on the floor by the bed.
I had a room to stay in with my family. It was hot since they hadn't switched to spring/summer mode, according to them. However, they did send an engineer up to turn off the heat, which was greatly appreciated. Otherwise, we would have baked. It is in a convenient location. You are close to the capitol building, Brown and JWU, the Amtrak station, the convention center, and Providence Place Mall. There are a lot of different cuisines around-- likely a result of the culinary school students sticking around to pursue their ventures.

United KingdomThe double beds felt a little narrow, but we had two of them in our room for three and they were very comfortable.
We had a lovely size room in a remarkable hotel, with a small, comfortable lounge space and plenty of space for the three of us. The bathroom was a reasonable size although considering the size of the rest of our room it felt slightly small... but was more than adequate. The hotel felt like it was in the centre of the city and was well located for all that we needed, the lobby is clearly a bit of a gem and we ventured up to the top floor to have a look at the incredible ballroom and see the spectacular views from the top floor. The car park was just behind the hotel and very easy to get to and from.

United States of AmericaI had really wanted to go in the sauna. It was one of the reasons I booked with you. I knew the spa opened at 10 so I went down all excited and they said the sauna in the spa didn’t open until 12. I was bummed and had to checkout
Location was great - so central to Brown, restaurants and train station

United States of AmericaLighting by sink was dim, not that bright in bathroom, either. Was not that impressed with shower.
Stylish decor, good location, helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. We stayed in junior king suite and would stay here again if we are ever back in Providence.

United States of AmericaIt is a much older hotel. Elevators were slow. The lighting in the bathroom was way too dark. Couldn’t see in the mirror even to wash my face. The room was also quite hot, I had to crack a window.
Very comfortable beds and quite a big room which I was able to sit and talk with visiting friends without having to go to a bar.

United States of AmericaThe heat wasn’t working properly and had to be fixed (and it was cold while we were there), spent two days trying to get my keys to work until they finally had to replace the door lock. No movie services and no one at the front desk could help us connect our Netflix to the TV monitor so my daughter and I had to hover around her laptop to watch a movie. The pillows were far to overstuffed and neither my daughter nor I could use them. $35/day parking.
The hotel has loads of character, our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe only negative is probably not one the hotel can do much about. I am disabled and the elevator was difficult to negotiate with the heavy door and small size when I had to use it with luggage.
Staff at the desk exceeded expectations. They were friendly and helpful at every interaction. The room was small, but very comfortable and clean.

United States of AmericaParking situation, when asked how to get to garage had to walk threw rain when skywalk was visible but I guess not accessible. Over priced, because no food and no pool, area hotel offer more for less.
Security of the building, card access needed for elevators and also doors after hours. Location was awesome. Staff was awesome.

FranceWhen I checked in, the woman at the front desk offered me a ticket for the parking without mentioning that I had to pay for it. I’ve discovered when I received the invoice that I have been charged $33. Very unprofessional… Also, although very clean and cosy, the room was a bit outdated. A small piece of the ceiling felt down while we were there.
The hotel is beautiful and very well located. The room was cosy and clean and I really liked the vintage style bathroom.

United States of AmericaThe food from the attached restaurant was subpar, and although the service was friendly several mistakes hampered a dining experience. It was over priced and the quality was lacking. Would not eat at Reiner's again, but would grab cocktails there. For spending a hefty amount of money I was greatly disappointed. Pointdexter Coffee shop was superb though.
I loved the atmosphere, the decor, the neighborhood, the historic nature, and the amenities. An absolute delight. The staff was efficient and friendly.
