Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Israelstay clear of the "accessible" rooms if you are not handicapped. This term (accessible) may not be clear to non-Americans (like us). The accessible Junior Suite (which we wrongly reserved) is ill suited for non-handicapped people (the shower is small and curtained, the vanity mirror is low, the bed is low). We had a few issues with the room cleaning (stuff remaining from previous guests, shower gel not refilled), which were quickly fixed
amazing location with extraordinary views of manhattan and the East River. The island is peaceful, green and beautiful and well worth a walk every morning. A respire from hectic Manhattan. Travel to and from Manhattan quick and easy with the Tram and the F subway line. We loved the views from the room (Junior Suite), and from the Bar (breathtaking). The reception Staff was always helpful and cheerful. The Bar and Restaurant at the Lobby level, as everything in this hotel, are nice and wellcoming.

United States of AmericaThey stored our luggage which was so nice since we had a later flight but it’s in a room with everyone’s bags. It wasn’t a problem but we felt a check in and out might be safer. We didn’t have any problems so it all went well.
The view is amazing! We road the Roosevelt Island Tram over. It is quick, cheap and easy. The Graduate is clean, well decorated and the rooms have blow dryers, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, a mini fridge and safe. We are a chicken pot pie at Grannie Annie’s that was awesome. All the food looked yummy there. It is a 7 minute walk from The Graduate.

IsraelThe breakfast is a shame. It is a continental breakfast, not proper breakfast and they don't even give you a cappuccino. There was a smell of mold in the bathroom.
Staff were very nice and allowed us to stay in the room 2 extra hours after checkout. Very nice view from the window.

NetherlandsA great hotel. I stayed one week with my childeren and it was wonderful. Hotel is located in a quiet green and safe location on the small beautiful Roosevelt Island. The Staff at the reception and management are very friendly and made us feel home from the moment we arrived at the hotel. Rooms are clean, nice view from our bedroom. With the Metro we were at TimeSquare within 10 minutes. We also used tramway to Manhattan. We had purchased one week public transport subscription for $35 per person and with that we could go anywhere in New York. It is advisable.

SerbiaBest value for money i ever had . Wonderful quiet place a few minutes from Manhattan by tram or subway. We had an incredible view from the 15th floor, the beds were extremely comfortable, the refrigerator in the room, the cleaning was perfect. In a word, we are delighted with this hotel.

Great hotel located on Roosvelt Island next to tram station and metro station. Room was very clean and comfortable with great view - overlooking Manhattan, the staff was very friendly and helpful. In the hotel there is a bar - panorama room with terrace and views overlooking Manhattan - it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays plus if you plan on going to the bar and would like to sit by the table make a reservation in advance (when we went there all tables were reserved and we sat by the bar)

SpainFor a 4 star hotel I would have expected to provide slippers as I don’t pack slippers when I go to such a hotel. But they didn’t have and the receptionist was a bit unfriendly when we asked about it.
Wonderful design, very ingenious and fresh. Cozy atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant. Beautiful rooftop terrace with view to Manhattan. The surrounding are an oasis of peace and quiet with amazing view.

SlovakiaI absolutely loved this hotel! It's been ages since I've come across such friendly people, especially the reception staff. The location is spot-on with stunning views, and it's super convenient with the subway just a 3-minute walk away. I'll definitely be recommending this place to all my friends visiting NY. If you're after a safe, quiet spot with plenty of green and easy access all around, this hotel is a no-brainer.
