There was no nightstand next to the bed, and there was an awkward smell coming from the bathroom. We had to close the bathroom door during the day, hoping that the full room is not going to smell like that by the evening. Also, the temperature control for the shower was almost impossible to handle, it was either scorching hot, or ice cold and took about 10 minutes to slowly get to to about a workable teperature.

The location was nice, it took a while to drive to the park, but it wasn't bad at all. The room was functional, it had most of the stuff that were expected, and the temperature was surprisingly good considering the day and night tempperature outside. Parking was also nice and close to the room.

It needed a lot of work. Kind of shabby. Pool was very dirty and not useable. If I had a lot of money I’d buy the place and clean it all up. It’s in a great location on the way to the Grand Canyon the area is so nice it is a shame its potential is not being met.

I loved the log furniture the location the bar and the restaurant. Food and drinks were great! Staff was very nice! Loved the rustic vibe!

Checkin took forever because an older man wasn't letting the younger girl do her job. Went to drop off keys at 7am - office closed, so we dropped keys in box. Not much in the way of service, but the hotel sorta runs itself I guess. We didn't have much choice for booking options given our camping/weather fiasco, but guests who do have options should consider a night in Williams instead - much cuter, a little cheaper, a little father away from Grand Canyon.

We planned to tent-camp at Grand Canyon, but it was snowing pretty hard. Luckily, this place had rooms for a reasonable price. Maybe 30-40 mins drive from Grand Canyon entrance - make sure you go early or late! Or watch the USNPS live cam of front entrance to see how many cars! The hotel was basic and nice. GREAT breakfast food truck across the street w/ good coffee (though expect to pay high price for high-end, made-to-order breakfast sandwiches).

The staff was nice and helpful. It suited our needs. It's not a super fancy place. It's older, and the building has a few cosmetic issues. It's a very reasonable price and only 30 min away from the Grand Canyon. It does what you need it to do, gives you a place to crash after a long day at the canyon. I would stay again.

Poor check in experience. There was a new person on the desk who couldn’t find our booking and told us he couldn’t do anything and we had to contact booking.com to sort. Incredibly frustrating after a long drive but luckily after a few minutes the supervisor came out and found our booking quickly. Showers are so low so anyone over 5 foot will struggle but we made it work.

Lovely rooms, great location for the Grand Canyon. Amazing taco truck next door.
