Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe first room I was given was definitely not what I booked. It was tiny, had an overwhelming bleach smell and had chickens outside trying to get in our room. It was across from the main hotel at the motel/bunkhouse.
Once we were moved to a new room the stay was pleasant…clean, decent room. The staff in person at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful.

United KingdomShouldn't advertise that there is a pool as it is completely unusable - dirty and green in colour when we were there. Wifi didn't work the first night we were there.
Location great for Grand Canyon - 20 min drive. Fuel stop and shop with everything you need. Room was a good size and had all you need. Parking outside room and easy to get to.

United States of AmericaWhen entering the lobby, you're greeted by a weird video screen connected to a live person offsite. He couldn't hear us so told us to check in in the lobby, where there was a person. Not sure what the deal with that was. The next day, going to the restaurant, the woman on the video screen asked if she could help us, and then just directed us to the restaurant. Saw other people just ignore the screen and walk through... not sure what the point of the video call is?
Room was decently sized, good location for trips into the Grand Canyon.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe room wasn't very clean (carpet behind the beds was probably last vacuumed sometimes in 1960s), but other than that - the room was nice and we had a vintage motel experience : )
Great value, location is half an hour to Mather Point in Grand Canyon. We checked in late at night, and extended our stay which the staff accommodated by keeping us in the same room. The room is spacious and heating (which we needed) worked well, although it is a bit loud.

United States of AmericaThe shower tap knobs in our bathroom were bit ajar and loose - had some difficulty in figuring out how to get them to work. So was the water closet flush, water was not filling up the tank after a flush. We had to figure out that after flushing we need to press the flush again to stop water leaking and not filling. Hope the management can take this input to have it fixed.
Great location south of Grand Canyon South Rim in Williams AZ. The Hotel rooms are in ground floor and first floor levels overlooking either the Chevron gas station that houses some nice vintage cars or the back side overlooking greenery. The onsite restaurant and bar serves nice food and drinks. The biggest room offered is a double queen. The bathroom is little cramped though - has a basic shower and closet.

United States of AmericaThe wifi didn’t work for me at all. My phone had a bit of data but it was weak.
Really comfy bed and good shower, everything was clean in my room. Also I felt safe as a solo t traveler. Overall, one of the cheapest places you can find this close to the canyon (35 min drive to visitor center). Was a decent place to stay for one night.

United KingdomThere was no nightstand next to the bed, and there was an awkward smell coming from the bathroom. We had to close the bathroom door during the day, hoping that the full room is not going to smell like that by the evening. Also, the temperature control for the shower was almost impossible to handle, it was either scorching hot, or ice cold and took about 10 minutes to slowly get to to about a workable teperature.
The location was nice, it took a while to drive to the park, but it wasn't bad at all. The room was functional, it had most of the stuff that were expected, and the temperature was surprisingly good considering the day and night tempperature outside. Parking was also nice and close to the room.
