Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe lobby was all torn up and being renovated. This information was not communicated on Booking.com. For the price we paid, we would have expected everything to be complete. The breakfast was ok, but not great. The pool is quite small and unattractive. The pictures of it are quite misleading. The room itself could use more lamps/lights.
The hotel is across the street from other hotels and beach access. The hotel is being renovated and plans to become a Hilton property. The room we had was renovated and had nice new paint and decor. However, several things needed to be touched up and repaired. It was like no one did quality control after the renovation. If these things were touched up, it would be really nice. I think when all is finished, it will be very good.

United States of AmericaNo direct beach access, the breakfast was bland, no seasoning. The bscuits were hard. Lamps in the room were hanging off the wall. People were letting kids play in the hallway after 12 am. While most people were trying to sleep. Construction is going on every day. I was approached by someone trying to get me to go listen to a sales pitch every time I walked through the lobby, even after I had already told them I was not interested.
Nice area, good restaurants around the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe hotel was an active construction project and that wasn't disclosed before booking. They didn't do anything loud during the weekend but as soon as Monday morning rolled around everyone got back to work it was loud. The pictures showed an indoor pool which was my main reason for booking and if there was one it was part of the construction project, because we couldn't access it. The maids cleaned different parts of the room each day which was fine, just strange. It's like they didn't have a formula for cleaning, and just did whatever they wanted. The complementary breakfast was pretty good, but they had a really serious and kind of dark news show on in the room that felt really inappropriate for young kids, so that made us eat super fast or bring it back to our room. Just a weird choice for a shared space. At one point we needed something from the front desk and the man working was watching a movie and seemed genuinely bothered that we would even ask for anything. I got the feeling that by Monday we were the only people staying in the hotel, and yet our service was really below average.
It was a great location, and the room was nice.

United States of AmericaGrand Hilton Hotel Inn. Emphasis on "Inn". This was a recon trip and next year I plan to revisit the area with a longer stay. However, I will likely select another hotel. In my room, some of the buttons on the phone were broken, mattress too small for bed frame, NO complimentary bath and shampoo products!! Slots were available for the dispensers, but no dispensers or products. They only provided a tiny bar of soap. Luckily, I had my own products. Towels and wash cloths were thin. The vending machine was not working on some floors. Each time I used the elevator from my assigned floor to the 1st floor I thought I entered the laundry facility - very annoying. The breakfast area was too small for the size of the hotel. At the time, apples were the only fruit option.
In April 2024, I had an overnight stay and determined the hotel has great potential. The hotel was easy to locate and in a quiet area. The staff was nice. The hotel had adequate parking. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel had a pool area and decent continental breakfast options. The hotel was driving distance to Mitchellville Freedom Park, filled with African American history and a pathway to a lovely quite beach.

United States of AmericaThe bed/sheets was very uncomfortable and itchy and we didn’t have much of a view we only saw the rooftop where the A/C ducts are they stated breakfast would be ready from 7-10am and that wasn’t the case we had to ask them for things that should already be out for the guess
I love how clean and neat it was and the extra chairs! Nice office space!

United States of AmericaThe remodeling going on is so extensive, why not shut down for a week or two, bring in a large company to knock it out proficiently? Seriously, open ceilings, hanging wires, sheetrock & dust everywhere. Maybe 3-4 contractors trying to cover the entire first floor. It will be beautiful once complete. But weird to try to relax in midst of construction noises. Let's talk about breakfast....they've shoved it into a room, like a future office perhaps fitting 10 people max. But good coffee, excellent variety & I appreciated my girls cld male waffles ea. morning, bike rental out front. Parking is difficult, barely enough spots.
Remodeled rooms, bed comfort, shower are very nice.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast area was too small and congested. Also, every time I left my room, the large dog in the room across from me started barking extremely loudly.
I liked the location, and there was quick access to the beach. The price was good based on the current condition due to renovations.

United States of AmericaIt was under construction but will be amazing when it was finished. 2 of the desk clerks were unfriendly and not helpful. One was a younger girl. The other one was filling in. I think he might have been a supervisor of the construction-he was older. No one wore name tags. That annoys me !

United States of AmericaThe girl at the night desk when we checked in and both nights was not friendly or helpful Our TV didn't work when we got there, we went down to tell her. We felt we were inconveniencing her. She told us they were working on it and would have tv by evening. We asked her were we should go to eat or see stuff. Told us where things were but nothing more. Didn't smile... We didn't have tv 3 hours later when we got back.. I called and Someone did come right away. The hotel is being updated so dust everywhere, which we weren't told but it was fine. Our door was literally hanging on 1 hinge. The bathroom door hinges were so rusty we didn't close the door.
The location was nice. The morning lady Shelly was very nice. The shower was fantastic. The bed comfortable and the balcony was nice. The breakfast was free and warm. Waffles were great. Beach was close.

United States of AmericaWe were under the impression; the room actually had a balcony. But it didn't They were also doing renovation which wasn't posted on the site. I guess the receptionists having a bad day. weren't very pleasant. Unless we just didn't know how to operate the coffee dispenser in our room, didn't work & no help offered to assist, even after we told them it didn't work. no exercise room, used the beach for our workout.
The best part of the stay was the hotel walking distant to the beach! Easy access to all types of eatery & shoppes.
