Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere were not many accommodations. The beds were not entirely comfortable. The AC only worked when we were in the room so we tried to get the temp down but had to wait a long while for it to kick in. The shower was slightly grimy, we found what looked like a prune (hopefully) on the ground. Overall the price was not worth the stay. Over $500.00 a night and you expect a little better.
The location was great!

United States of AmericaIt was my birthday. My relatives sent flowers twice but I had to run them down. They were never delivered. Also, I was promised an email of my fees and charges. I have yet to receive it.
I had stayed at the Hyatt before. It's shabbier than I remembered but the location is great.

Great location. Big, clean and comfortable room with great view. $15 daily allowance per room to spend at market in the lobby.

United States of AmericaStaff is pretty unresponsive (never showed with our room service). The bathrooms and amenities inside the rooms are a little outdated and difficult to work. No coffee or tea in the room.
Nice hotel, great location, and very large and comfortable rooms. Price was unbeatable. Was perfect for our large group of friends. Would stay again.

United KingdomWe paid more for a city view room and the window wasn’t the best - couldn’t see much. Unsure if that was worth it. The shop was crazy overpriced. The $15 budget did not go far! We spent that on 2 large waters! Seems like everyone felt the same as each person took a long time in the queue adding up the total! They charge to hold your luggage - which we’ve never had before. You’re then expected to tip on top of that!
Staff were helpful and friendly on the door. Location was great. Room had enough room but we did pay for it. The hotel lobby was impressive, smelt nice and looked clean. Security is good, you can’t enter hotel without showing your room key.

SpainThe size of the bathroom was for one person, but there were 3 in the room.
The hotel was very nice. The service and people were joyful and helpful. The location was great. However, our double bedroom had a very small bathroom. There were three of us in a bedroom with just one sink. Otherwise, everything was great.

United States of AmericaWe didn’t like the room as much as the last one we had- and this was even more expensive. This is a $200 room at best, and we paid over $600. I expected more counter space in the bathroom, it’s super cramped in the bedroom, and there is an extra mini fridge just sitting there.
The location is perfect. Walking distance to Times Square, Broadway, etc.

Hong KongThe WiFi was not working well in my room.
The room is spacious. We opened all 4 suitcases and there was still space for us to walk around. The closet is big enough for two people to stand inside. The hotel is located next to Grand Central station. About 15 minutes walk we could get to Times Square.

RomaniaIt was quite cold in the rooms even if you’d turn the heater on also due to the fact that doors weren’t closed hermetically and you could feel the cold coming in from beneath the door. Also, the budget of 15$ was only partially covering a decent breakfast ( enough only for 2 small coffees and 1 muffin - for a family of 3).
The hotel is excellently located, very close to Grand Central Station and a few minutes away from Times Square. Rooms were quite big and clean and at check in you’d receive a 15$ daily budget to spend on coffee/ muffins/ bagels/ fruits at the market located in the lobby.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that was a bit disappointing was the look of the room. For how much we paid it could have looked more updated. Furniture looked a bit old and so did the bathroom in the room.
Great breakfast! Location of hotel was great! It was like 15 minutes from time square. Staff were all very helpful. Hotel connects to a train station that has stores and restaurants.

United KingdomService was not up to mark. I had to phone so many times to get kettle even though I had sent an email 1 month ago. Safe was broken, not fixed for full time we stayed. Staff only wants tips and is very hesitating in providing services... in break fast area, staff is talking more and providing less service. Breakfast is not great, only few things, very boring and dull every day.. Sheets were very dirty and they were not getting changed even after 3 days..
Only location and interior.
