Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Th couch needs updating and the bedding (dust ruffle) needed cleaning. Overall the room was nice, just could use some touch ups
The facility was nice and the accomodations good. Access to beach was somewhat simple (other then you have to keep doing u turns)

I thought I was making reservation just with booking. Did not realize the other party VACASA until already paid. Way too many steps to complete and get set up to check in. Online verify would not work so had to call twice. Too much trouble!

This should be under what did not like.What did like kitchen well equipped.
Location was good tricky but gps got is there. Unit was well equipped. TV's were a problem.. no internet apparently entire complex out .. plan to work on laptop not possible for 48 hours, TV in bedroom contil did not work and TVin Lving area had to be reprogrammed after motom which was unplugged was reconnected.Called to report problem 5 pm Friday tech person did not arrive for 24 hours. stuck there unable to leave condo so it coould be reported . Four generation trip 99 not happy no TV and 13 not happy no internet. I called rental agency before we left stool need tightining before some one fell. Toilet holder off in master bedroom, Need security rod/holder for bathtub or shower bath no way for 99 to bathe and bathroom to small to try to help. Light in living are plug had been stripped not working.

We had an issue with the condo door not locking when we wanted to leave to go somewhere. Maintenance did fix it promptly. Maintenance did come in unannounced to fix the washer and dryer french doors.

the only problem we had was there was no covers only sheets which was a small inconvenience. also we ran into the issue of not having enough room for trash. since we only had two trash bags.
it was a great place, very close to beach with a cross walk so you could just walk right over.

The couch was weird. The back part was laying on the ground behind the couch. I am not sure if it was supposed to be connected or not. The coffee table in living room was broken- the leg was detached. The curtains in the front bedroom were not attached to the rod across the top so they draped down in the middle. They would not close in the middle so we used clothespins to hold the curtains together. Not good coverage so light came in as soon as the sun came up.
Location was great. I liked the driveway up the hill to unload and load. That part was convenient. I appreciated the staff allowing me to change condos the day before arrival when I realized I had booked a one bedroom instead of a two bedroom.

Vacasa Management was awful. Days before arriving I was inundated with emails, most of which were repetitive and useless. None included information on how to get into the apartment. Getting that key (pardon the pun) information was a real hassle, and included several unsuccessful attempts to contact Vacasa. The issue was finally resolved by calling Booking.com. Once in the condo, we could not find a TV remote. Once again, no way to contact Vacasa. Emails to them did not go through and no one ever answers the phone. The refrigerator froze our food - once again, no way to contact anyone. I will never again book anything through Vacasa.
Property was pretty nice in a good location with a nice view and easy access to biking trails. It's a busy area but was quiet at night, beds were comfy and it was easy to walk to the beach with the assistance of a crosswalk.

The only thing I would change is, either replace the old school coffee pot with a pod style, or make sure it has filters and it’s stated in the listing somewhere.
