hated that 2 cars got broken into the first night we were there. Didn't always feel safe, large unhoused population living accross street making it difficult to get to the elevated walkway to see ocean. The motel was in varing degrees of construction,. No air in the handicapped room my sisters stayed in.

Loved being so close to the ocean I could hear the surf,

Room wasn't very clean the floor was sticky/dirty. The bathroom had a light above the shower cut into the ceiling (not finished), missing the toilet paper holder, and toilet flap would get stuck open. No air conditioner and the curtains were ripped/dirty. Several RVs parked/being lived in on the street next to motel.

Proximity to the beach and SF zoo.

This has nothing to do with the property, the location is next to the beach that has unfortunately a large RV and homeless encampments. The staff and location did have surveillance and staff came out regularly to make sure the property was well managed

The floors could’ve been swept better as there was sand on my feet when I got into bed I would have to brush it off and I did not go to the beach! It would’ve been nice to have a coffee machine in the room or something to heat water.

The location was fantastic. The room was decent, and the man at the desk was wonderful and helpful.!

there were old cars and campers permanently parked on the street in front of the motel (eyesore), building was old, windows in our room were dirty (on the outside), floor had a soft spot in it at bathroom doorway (like they just covered a hole in the floor with the flooring

was located within walking distance of the beach and a large park, check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, clerk was friendly, price was great, could see part of the beach from one of our windows

The lack of amenities such as no ice, no cups, and no coffee pot. All you get is a bar of soap, a used bottle of lotion, and a used bottle of shampoo (I think). I bring my own, so I don't care for any of that. The shower curtain smelled so bad of cat urine that it made me worry about how clean the rest of the room truly was. But the entire bathroom smelled terrible. The walkway was pretty dirty, but it did rain during our stay. Lack of parking in front of the hotel as I didn't feel safe having my car out of my site. There would be more options if the street wasn't lined with homeless people. Which brings me to my next comment..... The homeless camps line the majority of the street. Soon as you turn onto the road, you are greeted with broken-down trailers, cars, and homeless people outside them with piles of stuff. Though an eye sore, I will say they did keep to themselves for the most part. And when they didn't, they were nice. Never loud or obnoxious. The city comes daily and cleans up their messes. However, one of the nights 2 cars IN the parking lot got their window smashed and robbed. So I worried the entire time that my car was next. I was very lucky. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR!! Not just here, but most places in San Fran. Overall, I got what I paid for, but there's no price for peace of mind, so I'm not sure I'd return. I know the hotel can't control the homeless, which is unfortunately going to ruin this hotel 🫤

The staff was friendly. Didn't have much interaction except check in and requesting new towels and things. You're within walking distance to the ocean. Just a few minutes' walk. Big parking lots if you want to drive. The room was spacious but didn't look much like the pictures. Bed was comfortable. Had a fridge that kept things very cold (I had to clean it before using. Dirty and smelly) AC and heater worked well. Free parking

The rooms were.... well i have stayed at better, especially for the price. It was a old building so my expectations were not that high. Defiantly could use a re model. Homeless staying in campers across the street. I did not have any problems, but was a turn off.

The location was good, right across from the beach. A gigantic park, coffee shop within walking distance and gas station with convent store across the street.

The man at the front desk checking in wasn't very friendly. The homeless community just across the street was very concerning. Worried all night, whether my truck would be broken into.

No early check in so I was stuck waiting for hours before I could use my room. It is a motel, not a hotel, and the décor is dated.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There is a smart TV in the room for entertainment. There is a good sized mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Parking was convenient.

The housing crisis in San Francisco now has its impact everywhere, so you can expect seeing its victims on nearby streets. We never felt unsafe though, I must mention that. The rooms are a bit worn, but not too badly, everything works, the beds are comfy, the rooms just need a bit of a refresh.

The location is really great, beach, beautiful park, few minutes drive from a viewpoint to Golden Gate bridge. A few nice restaurants nearby. Fairly easy to reach from the airport if you are renting a car, no need to struggle with traffic jam while getting to downtown or worry about parking. Not too far from main attractions either.
