To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaMy tv did not work. I waited over three hours for help. I called the front desk three times. First two calls I was lied to by the woman. She said she told Matt but third call Matt answered and said he had no idea and was not told! He came right to my room and replaced the HDMI cord and the problem was solved in less than five minutes! So frusted being lied to! Matt apologized several times and that made the situation a little easier to accept.
I liked Matt from the front desk. Very nice, helpful and courteous.

The staff in the morning was exceptionally friendly in serving breakfast and checkout. The man at the front desk asked personal questions about our stay and for any feedback we could give. I feel that personal questions like that are a great touch.

United States of AmericaNo elevator. The floor in my room was absolutely filthy! Stuff all over the bathroom floor and the carpet. It had not been scrubbed well if at all! The carpet was very dirty especially along the walls but everywhere. The shower curtain had mold on it!!
Front desk gal was so very nice and thorough and helpful! I checked in very late at night Friday night. She was the one working all night long. Location was good. Price was right. Comfortable bed and good water pressure. Was pretty in the lobby.

United States of AmericaThis is a very worn property. I’m not sure why I was charged a pet fee. The cleanliness of the property certainly doesn’t warrant charging a pet fee. there is no soundproofing whatsoever. People upstairs were very noisy and I could hear the people next-door to me.
