Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Limited staff hours. We arrived and left before there was staff on duty. However, they were very accommodating.
We loved the pool!! It was a nice quiet location. Our room was a great size for a family of 5.

We didn't like that the location was 10-15 minutes from the main town. The beds were very uncomfortable. The location has not been renovated in more than 20 years.
We liked the price of our stay. We liked the free kayaks that were available. We liked the close parking to our room. We like the cleanliness of the grounds. We like having a full size fridge and kitchen utensils.

The wifi signal was too weak to get from our room.
The location was great---right on the water with a little beach and dock. Loved the outdoor tables and hammocks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar a two minute walk away.

Rooms were a bit dusty and could have been cleaned better.
Location and ambience are excellent. Late check-in process was very smooth. Kayaks were a very useful facility.

The kitchen wasn’t well equipped. Had to buy a skillet to use in cooking breakfast and donated it when we departed. The bathroom needed counter space and/or storage. The place just needs some love and attention.
The location was very good and view of ocean was perfect. Room was very clean. It was a very peaceful setting.

Some road noise at night, if the bedroom window was open.
Comfortable bed and enough room in the bedroom to unpack our suitcases and organize. The grassy outdoor space behind the building is a nice place to relax with a water view. We enjoyed the outdoor seating both the front and back of the building.

Lack of parking, disrepair of room and pool. The pool was low on water and way to hot! Both pool issues could be fixed easily. BIG ISSUE IS SECURITY…locked doors could be easily opened with credit card or screwdriver.
The property is located in a great quiet location. Room was clean with nice clean linens.

The distance from everything is a plus and a negative. That's the only complaint.
We stayed in the Queen Oceanview Suite. Absolutely comfortable, awesome view, great outdoor community area, friendly staff and other visitors, and last but not least, nice dock fishing and wildlife.

The hotel is close to the highway, so you can hear cars late at night which interrupted sleep.
Very clean and comfortable room. Front desk agent was wonderful. The grounds had a heated pool, acess to kayaks, hammocks, tetherball, and outside grills for cooking.

Beds were a little hard,for our preference, but very typical for hotel/motel beds. #20 was our room. Very clean but very small. Would be perfect for 2 adults and 2 SMALL children, but with 10 & 11 year old boys it was cramped. (2 double beds) I really can’t complain, though, as we were offered an upgrade prior to arrival and at arrival, also. I made the mistake by not accepting the offer. The office has short “open hours”, 9-5, so making requests or asking questions,after returning in the evening, was not possible, and I try to respect that. Just a bit frustrating for me.
Beautiful location!! Very clean. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful pool and well kept. Water was clear and clean. Except for road noise (which is totally out of property’s control), it was very quiet and relaxing. Typical hot Florida weather!! BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY!!

The kitchen is unsuitable for preparing a dinner, but perhaps you can eat in nearby restaurants. No beach, but beaches are rare in the Keys.
On the Gulfside so no sea wead. Confortable beds.

BUT, if your looking for a restfull night do NOT stay in room 11... it is under the office aparently & the walking, jumping (anything & everything is heard below) TERRIBLE
Clean, comfort, accomodating rooms and practical for a 1 night stay.... The outdoors, super clean & access to water & pool is great... Also, cleaning staff was super nice & concerned of our stay!
