Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The meals were not included at the hotel and they were very expensive
It had free transport from where you do car rentals as well as free transport to and from the airport

Wasn't cleaned well. Hair on bathroom floor & shower. Got a cpl bug bites on my leg. My wife did not get any. Noisey room. A lot of noise from airport. More than expected. Windows shook. Planes landing every 5-10 minutes. Maybe otherside of hotel better. Don't stay facing runways!!!

The bathroom floor in Room 712 was sticky. It made walking around quite unpleasant. Not sure if the floor wasn't cleaned or what. Needs to be looked at!
Room furnishings were very good. Nice desk area. Very sufficient for my purposes. Very close to the airport, for quick access to an early flight.

It was a good place with excellent facilities. The bathroom facility was excellent and was perfect for my parents who have some mobility issues. The place was near the airport.

The restaurant was fair. There was not even a bottle of water in the fridge or anywhere in the room. The night we were there, there was a fire evacuation at midnight, we were kept waiting in the lobby, not a single person from the hotel, was there to keep us informed, nor did anyone tell us that it was safe to return to our rooms… after a while people just wandered back to their rooms. Totally disorganised.

The table top ironing board that was provided in our room.
We loved everything about the H Hotel. Becca was super sweet when we arrived, and Shannon was equally as sweet and accommodating upon check out. Our room was clean and super spacious with great views. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant downstairs. Although the weather was cool and windy, we enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop deck. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

There was no ice bucket in the room.
Staff is so important when I stay anywhere. It can really make or break a hotel experience in my opinion. Everyone I encountered during this stay was so friendly and willing to help. Very accommodating. Thank you!

The coffee maker in the room did not work. It was a complete mystery to me, and the staff at the front desk offered me a free cup of coffee if I went down to the lobby, which worked out well. That silly crazy coffee maker needs directions posted
Late check-in was no problem. Airport shuttle was not there, it was very late like 1am, a different shuttle driver said " no problem I can take you there." there was staff at the front desk ready to give me my room key at 1 am and I did not arrange this service in advance. The waiter at the restaurant for breakfast was very nice, friendly helpful and charming. Good food.

Just be mindful about bringing your own snacks. They are expensive if you want to buy them in the hotel. Also, the staff was not very friendly or good in the restaurant portion.
That it was close to the air port. I also enjoyed the 24 hour shuttle as our flight left early in the am.

Would be helpful to know beforehand to look for the Joes Garage shuttle. Nothing else was not to like.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel was easy and took only a few minutes. The check in staff were efficient, reception area nice, and the rooms are excellent. Spacious, lovely comfortable beds and pillows, lovely big bathroom with soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Easy to store luggage for our late flight out. The restaurant was great for a hotel...delicious fresh salad.

Daily Parking rental, Elevator operation, with no floor options selected from inside, was a bit weird to get used to (though I understand that it is the way it is for security reasons) - I once got stuck inside as I just walked into an open Elevator being habitual to conventional ones.
