Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BoliviaFood at restaurant 25 degrees wasn’t the best. No many alternatives to choose there. The corridors that lead to the rooms were to dark for me.
Location was excellent. Staff very attentive and helpful. Bed and pillows were among the best I have tried in a long time! Ambiance at the pool was also very nice, specially for breakfast.

United States of AmericaWe absolutely hated the small room and although the beds were comfortable, we kept stubbing our toes on the corners of the bed and it hurt our toes several times and pissed us off. We eventually had to put our backpacks in front of each of the 2 center end corners of the bed to save our toes. Ridiculous!!!!!
The location was great as we could walk outside and go directly to see the walk of the stars and other attractions.

SingaporeNone.
I was aware of the hotel's heritage and cultural significance but I booked it primarily for its location. Directly opposite the hotel is Madame Tussaud's Hollywood and adjacent to that is the TCL Chinese Theatre! The hand and shoe prints of celebrities, including Harry Potter's dynamic trio (HRH) Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, are right in front of the TCL Theatre. I love the '25 Degrees' burger restaurant. My brother and I had several meals there. The staff are cool and honest too. We were slightly overcharged for a meal as the establishment misheard our order. We didn't notice the overcharge and when we returned for breakfast the next morning, the staff who served us the day before recognised us and pointed it out to us. The price for our tea was shaved from the bill to offset the overcharge. Thumbs up.

CanadaThe room was gross. Bathtub was painted and the paint was peeling. You're not supposed to paint the bathtub. Not hygienic. I also noticed dust all over the hotel room in areas that don't normally get cleaned. The White tiles on the bathroom floor we're pretty stained. Bathroom door didn't even lock.
The lobby and the pool were great. The location was also great.

United Arab EmiratesThe walls in the cabana rooms were very thin and the noise from other rooms was obtrusive. Having a speaker outside above the door on the patio area was annoying as the music started in the morning and went on into the evening. The rooms are dated and are not as clean as I would have expected for the rates being charged. Very surprised that no tea or coffee facilities were available and we had to request a kettle and cups.
The cabana room by the pool was a good size and very convenient for using the pool and the Rosy Cafe. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and were always available to assist.

United States of AmericaRoom is very drab. The walls could be painted, bigger pictures on the walls, better lighting, more desk space, better rug on floor.
Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The pool and the outside cafe are wonderful. The old lobby upstairs is beautiful. One can get a morning cup of coffee at the upstairs restaurant which is nice.

United States of AmericaI understand how difficult some guests can be and they test the patience and understanding of the front desk team. Unfortunately I had a brief moment with one of them on the phone who seemed dismissive of my questions but I overheard what was happening in the background and they already answered my question so I just thanked them and that's that. The only other thing was the 'thud' sound of the air conditioning systems when it goes on, randomly throughout the night, including from the rooms on the same floor. It got so quiet, which is great in Hollywood, but that can be a little disruptive but I don't think anything can be done with it.
I loved the ease of checking in especially with the pre-check in online that saved me time when I got there. I loved getting the top floor room upgrade as part of booking.com's genius reward, and I got a view of the north end of Hollywood Boulevard, the hills, and all the way to the west seeing the high-rises. The Shirley Brasserie onsite was just right for easy meals especially if you get to sit in one of the booths and feel transported back to the cities olden days. Later that night we sat around the pool bar, and it was beautiful with the pool just glowing and the lights shimmering all around on the trees. It was a great overnight stay for an event we attended a short walk away at the El Capitan.

AustraliaLifts are very poor the day I checked in and asked for an early checking I had to wait until 3 I'm an iprefer member treated poorly then the second lift was used exclusively for a function so guests could only use one lift.. Is that safe??? And why do. Paying guests have suffer 5to8minute waits because of a function. That said the staff in the restuarnt bar were outstanding as were the concierge crew
