Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Had an issue with the tub draining on first use but the amazing staff were able to come and address it the next morning.
The staff were great and the place was spacious and clean. The location was perfect in that everything was close by (there's a publix that's walking distance) but you're not on a main road.

There was a notice that the pool wasn't complying with regulations, but it was still open and people were swimming. I also did swim. I'm ok if there's no real danger for customers, but it should be more consistent. If theres a notice, then you should close the pool.
Location is excellent if you're looking to stay in or near to Brickell. Apartment fully equiped and clean. Rooms, bathrooms, beds etc spacious and wide.

I complained about a broken toaster and ice machine was promised on the first day it would be fixed but took several emails to get a new toaster and a bag of ice; eventually reception came over on the 4th day with a new toaster but not happy it took so long to fix
Location was excellent easy to get to Downtown and the tours we had; staff at reception very helpful let us stay for a few hours after check out in the business lounge before we had to go to our cruise, impressed with reception people.

Wasn’t provided plans for parking so kind of had to drive around to find parking to check in, only to discover that parking is provided in front of the parking garage for check in. No big deal. Wasn’t provided check out requirements but chatted through Booking.com and questions were answered immediately.
The property was really clean. Elevators were always clean and available. The pool area was very clean. Hotel had a very pleasant smell throughout. Amazing view of the city. Our room was a lot more comfortable and spacious than expected. Amazing space for a family of four. Kitchen amenities were on point.

The air conditioning was so noisy that was impossible to sleep with that on, so we have to turn it off and then is was pretty hot. Washing machine and drier extremely noisy as well.

I wish they had a vacuum for us to use. After 4 days the floors needed a little touch. A tv in the second room would have made it perfect. But honestly, we loved the stay and cannot wait to be back.
Very clean, close to everything and quiet. So easy to get around town and see all the sites.

The bed was so hard not very comfortable and the shower had no door or curtain and the floor would be soaking wet when we showered.
Location was great, room was very nice, I loved the security like having to scan to get in door.

The building needs to be cleaned better: the pool and other common areas were full of dust and not welcoming. Same for the balcony in our room: the space is nice but the chairs, tables, and floors were not clean, so we didn't really enjoy the outdoor seating. Rooms also could be cleaned better.
Helpful staff, nice location and big rooms, as well as comfortable beds. Nice and easy to get in and out, as well as check-in and check-out. Good value for money.

Our door kept getting left open. Something was wrong with that latch and also the parking situation
I like access to coffee shops downstairs, the cleanliness people walking there, dogs just relaxation all around the board
