Minor fixes would be nice: hand crank on the bathroom window is missing, so you can't open it. Would've been nice to have fresh air in the bathroom. The unit requests shoes off - would be handy to have a bench inside the front door to remove and store shoes upon entry. Couldn't find scissors. Better seating on the west-facing yard would be great - it's a million-dollar view and the wood log bench isn't comfy, and the single plastic Adirondack chair is broken.

Outstanding view of the ocean from the living/dining room (and partial view from the kitchen sink). It was lovely to hear the ocean waves at night. Bed was very comfy. Ceramic tile floors throughout made cleanup easy (sandy paws, etc.). Well-stocked kitchen (BYO creamer, sugar, coffee, etc.) They supplied shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. The gas fireplace is adds atmosphere at night. It was a short walk down to the beach access. What a LOVELY neighborhood! We chatted with several locals while out on our walks - everyone is so nice. TIP: Be sure to visit Tunnel Beach at the north end of the beach. Access it via the tunnel in the rock!!!

you can hear people walking around upstairs but I can tell that our neighbors were trying to walk softly as much as they can.

felt like living among the locals with ample neighbors around and there was a nice view of the ocean.

There was no street address, name on the building or written driving directions, so it was a little difficult to locate. Also, we had unit B which is like a basement unit. The insulation in the flooring isn't good, and the noise of the people walking above us was bad. Sounded like a herd of elephants the first couple days.

The view was great and we liked the close proximity to town and the beaches. We also had a doe and two fawns visit one evening right outside the window. Fun to watch!

It had a musty damp smell that caused an allergic reaction in my partner. The bed and linens need to be replaced with something newer. It's pretty nice for a basement suite.

Great location and nice size unit

    - little to no wifi so we were unable to accomplish a lot (including to report a timely checkout, since we did not receive the check-out text requiring a response until almost 20 min after we'd gotten off the property) - wifi name didn't match what was provided nor was it able to be added to the network list, but it turns out there were two digits missing on the documents provided vs what showed on the wifi network list, and the password given did work for it (and we have AT&T, FYI) - batteries were dead or almost dead in the TV/DVD remotes - was a parental control on for regular TV shows? - we thought it was very nice to see there were DVDs in the living room, but just two, and both were for children. (One was Finding Nemo but it was blu-ray and evidently the DVD player is not a blu-ray player - TV service provider was not stable; several times in the evening it would freeze, become garbled, or just not show anything - very low ceilings - extremely loud guests above us, especially at night (of course) - white things on the floor in front of the shower stall (no bathtub) which looked like toenails at first, but turned out to be perhaps caulking that had peeled off? Not sure - too expensive for what it is Lessons learned: for a special birthday weekend (or any occasion), make sure you rent a single-unit place (no neighbors above)...what kind of walk it is to access the beach (down the hill street, turn down another hill, cross the road)...have all the information you could ever want or need for where you are staying (unit, town, nearby stores) in case the wifi does not work

We were in Unit B which is the basement unit. The family upstairs were not overly active but the noise of just them walking around was loud. Also the fireplace did not work.

    Excellent location near the beach.

the ceilings are low so if your tall i’d say taller the 6ft 5in you’llhave to duck under doorways

it’s very cozy they have a fireplace and a really comfy couch that does pull out so it can be used as a second bed they also have a rolling bed in the closet so it can sleep 3-4 people easy. the view of the ocean great you can hear the waves from the apartment. and the people that live near the apartment are very friendly great place to stay

The lock box outside needs a little TLC! Also maybe some verbiage on the fact that the code is to a key box, not to unlock the door! I was a little confused getting there. I put the code in many times, thought the box was breaking apart, then I realized the key was in there!! Also user error for sure, but I just wasn’t thinking it was a key box.

This location was beautiful!! Such an amazing yard and property. We stayed in unit B and really enjoyed the little seats and benches you had in the back under the upper deck! That was the spot we spent the most time for sure. Loved having a full kitchen, washer and dryer.

Being on the lower unit, there was some noise from footsteps in upper unit.

I loved the ocean view and that the kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation. The unit was clean and comfortable.
