Top blanket on bed had multiple stains and a small tear. Vacasa provided a brand new comforter blanket to us the same day, resolving the issue. There were also ants that found an open package (our fault), but Vacasa provided ant traps which resolved the problem.

Loved the location being in south Kihei, north Wailea area. It was very quiet and close to the Kamaole Sands Beach Park across the street. Parking was very convenient close to our room. The room(s) and floors were 99% clean.

Finding the unit in the complex for the first time took a little long. We arrived in the dark, so I'm sure it's probably easier if you arrive in the day.

This was in a great location right by a nice park and beach. There was a very warm welcome. The property has everything you could possibly need for your stay, from beach towels to sunblock, chairs and snorkeling gear.

Lighting in the kitchen on the ceiling wasn’t working. There was a sign by the light switch letting us know it was Not working. At night, it was an inconvenience.

Location was great! Access to the beach, pool and parking lot was wonderful! Also, morning walks on Kihei rd was perfect! Very pleased with the location! Grounds keepers were friendly.

Room 242 was not clean - the floor was dirty, and there were a lot of cockroaches, and the A/C cooled the bedroom but not the rest of the unit.

kitchen definitely needs upgrading - peeling cupboards... sink and tap really old. Bathroom the same - needs updating - very dark in shower and old. Needs new shower curtain. Only had one beach chair. Wish there was more cleaning products on hand so I could keep up with a clean kitchen and bathroom. Wish all the lights had dimmer switches - only the dining room had dimmer. Need dimmer in bedroom especially. In general, the unit has been kind of neglected - but the location is superb, and if you lower your expectations and don't mind a little shabbiness then it's a fine stay.

Location is fantastic - liked that there is a kitchen and laundry - liked the pool and the BBQ area. Right across from the beach. Also really nice that they left us 2 small cooler bags for lunches etc, and they were stuffed with cookies, chocolates, nuts, chips etc. :)

Hard to get a parking pass since I was going to a meeting down the street was was not there during the 9-5 business hours to in person pick up a pass. Should be able to get it on line or have longer office hours.

There were a lot of rules about pool use. No toys or floats in the pool, no Marco Polo! I didn’t have small children with me, but it seemed pretty restrictive. We got a notice on our car about being towed if we didn’t get a parking pass, but were never told that we needed a pass. The office manager said he had nothing to do with our type of rental and was there for the people who actually lived in the units. He wasn’t rude, but seemed frustrated to have to assist us. The unit was very warm during the day. The window air units cannot keep up with the two story building and vaulted ceilings.

The property is just across the street from the beach. It was very convenient to walk across there. The unit had all kinds of amenities, like beach gear and cooking supplies for us to use.

We were in a condominium which was fine but after arriving in the evening and walking barefoot around the condo before the next day, my husbands feet were nearly black! The place had been swept many times but obviously not mopped. There were no disinfectants available and we were still in Covid times!

one tiny window a/c barely cooled the bedroom; the living room/kitchen was always over 80 degrees. it does NOT have an ocean view/ it has a view of the other building & the lawn - the ocean canNOT be seen from this unit
