Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EstoniaUnfortunately, all city traffic sounds can be heard in the room, so if you are a light sleeper, earplugs will come in handy. And what´s the thing with the disposable dishes in America, it is so incomprehensible?! In Europe, even cheap motels have decent tableware to eat breakfast from, in America you pay 350€ per night and for that you eat from a cardboard plate, drink coffee from a cardboard cup and use a plastic knife and fork, it's just unbelievable, it's not environmentally friendly or sustainable! I also missed greens in the breakfast (cucumber, tomato, salad) and vegans and lactose intolerants have to bring their own products, a big country and a big hotel, but nothing for them in the breakfast.
The hotel was in a good location, metro stations 5 min walk. The hotel staff is very friendly, humorous and charitable, we were even allowed a late check-out. The room had very cozy lighting, a large bathroom, a hot shower with good pressure, the room was modern and nice, even the carpeted floor seemed nice that I was willing to step there with my bare feet (it is old and smelly in most NY hotels), the breakfast was also quite ok, something different every morning (omelet, bacon, cutlet, toast, buns, muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and the option to make your own waffles and all the extras for that). Our expectations were quite low because NY hotels are all very expensive and it's hard to find anything above average for a reasonable price, but this time we were lucky.

United States of AmericaI'm not a big fan of Flatbush Avenue, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Once you're inside, all is good. I really had overall no complaints at all.
Everything that I needed or asked for was responded to in a timely and helpful manner. There was a staff member named Jasmine who exceeded any and all expectations. It was a challenging period of time for me and she could not have been kinder and more supportive. All of the staff were excellent, but she gets an A+ for being available and helping me with my reservation.

Trinidad and TobagoI did not like that there was no microwave in my room. I had to visit the lobby area to use the microwave, which was a bit inconvenienced especially late at night.
The breakfast room was a bit small and did not have enough seating area for when the breakfast room or lobby area was a bit full. It was crowded during my stay.

United States of AmericaThere were drug attics begging for change And cigarettes out front. The security guard let my sister’s boyfriend in our room because he showed him a text she sent him two days before our trip. The was never in my sisters name for him to even allow him in the room. The facility gave me a room with a broken bathroom door and the showers did not work. They said they would give me a free dinner and a drink but never gave me the ticket for the meal or drink. The front desk made a seen about my bank debit so I had to use my credit card which was not a big deal but they seemed racist as if I couldn’t afford the room. If was a little embarrassing. I travel all the time.
The beds were very comfortable.
