We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe door to the bath would not close. The towels were thin and cheap. The breakfast was not as good at other Hampton inns. In Atlanta we had hot eggs and bacon. Here, we had a frozen egg sandwich that needed microwaving but no instructions as to how long.
It was clean and the bed was comfortable and quiet.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I didn’t care for - which wasn’t really even that bad - we did see a few bugs in our room. Cricket and a couple spiders. Nothing repulsive, just made me think they were due for a spraying.
The staff was all very nice and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve seen, with many options. I didn’t catch her name, but the woman running breakfast was very nice and seemed to enjoy her job.

JapanI had two main issues. First, I called the front desk to request housekeeping twice, but I did not receive it. The second time, I ran into the housekeeper in the hallway and confirmed that my room was not on her list. So, I went to the front desk and asked to be added. Only then did I actually receive housekeeping. It was annoying, but everyone is struggling right now, so I didn't get angry and instead just addressed it with the manager at checkout. Second, an employee was pushing customer satisfaction surveys on everyone at lunch. They apparently had a competition going, and she wanted to win. It was 6:00 in the morning, and I just wanted to eat breakfast undisturbed. The manager was not happy when I told her this, and she assured me that the surveys I was pressured to submit would be removed. Overall, these two events didn't spoil my experience. I stay there every time I visit my family, and I intend to keep staying there.
Rooms were clean and breakfast was good, as usual. I had no issues with the hotel itself, and I appreciate the COVID precautions that required us to request housekeeping instead of receiving it automatically. The manager (Shameka) was particularly friendly and helpful. She addressed all of the issues I mention in the negatives section, and she did so in a professional, helpful manner. It might also be important to note that I didn't shout about my issues or get angry. I pulled her aside and discussed everything quietly and politely, and she returned the favor with exceptional kindness and generosity.

United States of AmericaWhile the hotel was very pet friendly, the extra fee for pets was too expensive. $50 for 2-4 nights, $75 for 4+ nights. In our apartment, we pay $100 a month for a pet fee. Our dog is clean and calm. There was nothing that required an extra $50 to clean or repair after our stay with our dog. In fact, I would say that our room could have been cleaner before we checked in. There were hairs in the shower and on the floor. Also, the carpet felt sticky, perhaps carpet detergent that hadn't been rinsed out? And as always, there were details in the hotel room that look like they haven't been cleaned in 6 months, like the corners of the floors/walls and lighting in the bathroom.
The hotel common areas were very clean. The pool and hot tub worked well and were very clean and pleasant. The breakfast was very good. It was a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, oven potatoes, bacon, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and great coffee. It was the best hotel breakfast I've had in 5 years. On top of that, the staff that served breakfast was so friendly and helpful. They were working hard to keep the food in full supply and I could tell they took pride in their work. They had great attitudes, were approachable, and were eager to help!
