To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaTerrible smell in the lobby when we walked in. It was gone the next morning, but it almost made us turn around and go back out. Something from the kitchen. The hotel is old and dated. Furniture is scuffed. So it’s not pretty but it’s functional. I usually stay at Courtyard Marriott but they didn’t have a room with two beds.
Bed was comfortable. Quiet surroundings.

Thoughtful Staff. My wife has terminal cancer and stayed in the room most of the time. They honored request of not disturbing us for 5 days. They exchanged our towels and took trash on request. Breakfast Lady was very delightful. Hot Breakfast were filling and good selection.

United States of AmericaFirst of two families booked said room facing roadway was noisy. For the second family booking,I asked the staff to assign a room not facing the roadway(even number room#). Was not aware of a $2-$3 parking fee,would have liked to be aware of this before.
Breakfast was great. Close location to destination. Accomodated 2 families. No problems getting bookings this time of year. I would recommend this to others. Nice staff.Clean rooms and bathrooms. Plenty of parking space.

United States of AmericaKept having to ask for toilet paper. When I checked in there was a half roll and a spare. We were there for a week. When we ran out, we asked the lady upfront and she said she only had one and we'd have to ask for another one later. It was just kind of annoying. No fan in bathroom, which is a pet peeve, because everything in the bathroom gets wet with humidity. Weird odor in lobby as well. Almost like a leaking toilet smell or something. We were on 3rd floor so it didn't bother us, but it was apparent everytime we came downstairs. Other than that it was pleasant a pleasant stay.

United States of AmericaI always wish breakfast was longer than 6am-8am because I would like to enjoy sleeping in a little and breakfast is over by the time I would get up. . I would also like to have a warmer blanket on the bed. I felt like I was trying to stay warm under 2 flat sheets. I think in the sumer that would be fine but in the winter I need more blankets.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect if you want to be near everything but not smack in the middle of everything. There were plenty of towels stocked in our bathroom.

United States of AmericaWe've stayed at several Hampton Inns when traveling because they're comfortable and its great value for the money. The mattresses at this location were extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the floor. They also did not have a maintenance person on staff to fix the clogged shower drain. They did move us to another room that was very dated. The comforter smelled like a baby's diaper. We took it off the bed and just slept under the sheets. The staff was awesome. Because they are understaffed, they have to wear some many hats, but they did it with a smile. They did not hesitate to apologize for the issues with our rooms, and did their best to make it right. They truly deserve a bonus!!!
Love the location. It has a great selection of restaurants.

Breakfast changed from continental to hot while we were there and was much better. Also, they were very welcoming to our 2 dogs.

United States of AmericaThe grass looked like it hadn’t been mowed in a couple of weeks and it took a long time to check in even though we had reservations and already prepaid. A couple of my wife’s dresses were left in the closet when we checked out. We called about them since we were still in town but they said that house keeping was done and those doors were locked. I was confused why I didn’t receive a phone call earlier or email which they had. Later that night they called me and said that they could mail the items to our house and that they would take care of it. I guess by take care of it meant giving UPS our CREDIT CARD NUMBER and charging us for the shipping. The next day I asked to speak with the manager which was in a meeting and then never returned my call. This is the first time a Hampton Inn has let us down.
They allowed our pets and the place was very clean.
