Ice makers were out on the first, second and third floors. I had asked the front desk if there was an ice maker on the floor upon check-in. He said yes. Then, after finding three ice makers that didn’t work, the attendant told me to check the one on the fourth floor. He apparently knew that was the only ice maker working! Unfortunately, my room was on the third floor. Construction was going on at the main level, but not a problem. Experienced a large cut in my leg from a piece of the metal bed frame. The mattress was not secured on the frame to where a piece of the metal frame extended out from the mattress about 2 inches near the floor. The metal piece caught my leg as I walked next to the bed. I suffered a gash in my leg about 1 inch wide by 2 inches long. I asked the main desk attendant for first aid supplies, but none were available. However, I was able to get peroxide and bandages at a drug store in the area to treat my cut. Outside the building there were only two small lights at the entrance of the entrance. It was pitch dark at night in the parking lot making it difficult to unload my car and walking towards the building. I had a flashlight, which came in handy when walking in the parking lot at night. Other than the above issues, the room was clean and very quiet.

This property is under seriously needed updating. The price I paid for a night to be woken up by drilling and construction noise was a bit steep. I will be looking for another hotel for my next visit.

Lighting was a little hard to figure out as far as turning on and off. AC kept cutting on and off which kept my wife up most of the nights we were there. REnovations while not in our room area still left dust and debris in hall ways and on elevator.

The breakfast was great. Bacon would have been more appreciated but we just were not lucky enough to be there on that day. Room was comfortable but AC kept cutting on and off and the noise and then lack of kept my wife up most of the night. Bathroom was very nice. Front desk staff were VERY nice and helpful with check in and check out!

The first room we were assigned the beds were unmade, the second room the bathroom had debris on the floor. The front drive was very dirty, bottle caps present and just not clean.

Room was too warm even with temp set to 67. Shower was barely hot and like a spray - water pressure wasn't good.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Location was good for sports tournament at Ormond Sports Complex on Nova Road.

Staff seemed overwhelmed by the volume of guests since Hurricane evacuees and cleanup workers were here. Didn’t address our request for an extra chair in our room. Two people should have two chairs. What’s nonsensical is the room configuration: Two queen beds means up to 4 people would have to share one chair and two ottomans? That’s just impractical. I need a chair and ottoman for my knee therapy at night. we stayed at two lesser properties on the trip down to our move and each had two chairs, by the way. Our request was not odd, yet staff was adamant nothing could be accommodated for us. Literally not ONE other chair anyplace? A back room, office, warehouse, etc.? what would happen if a chair in a room broke? A guest would sit on the floor? Instead of rigid rule followers staff should see themselves as innovative problem solvers.

Great location for us in proximity to where we were moving to.

Breakfast was ok- i had to run my toast through the toaster 3 times and it still was only more warm then toasted, but this feels very much like a spoiled person’s complaint. it really is a no issue.
