Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaHousekeeping is every 4 days unless you request service. We requested fresh towels and they dropped off a bundle just inside the door but did not take the soiled towels.
Breakfast buffet was excellent with different hot main dishes - egg, potato, and meat- daily. Waffle station and cereals, toast, bagels.

I liked that you had to have a room key to go up in the elevators, making the building more secure.

United States of AmericaThe room looked clean at first but it had "that" smell of used or not well washed sheets and towels. The second night the AC froze and strated leaking in the middle of the room, so much that I had to place a pale under it. This is not what you expect from a Hampton Inn property. There was homeless outside the hotel.
Beautiful building in general, very good location to walk over the city, the trolley passes right in front of the hotel but we could easily go walking to Jackson Square and Cafe Do Monde. The room looked clean at first but it had "that" smell of used or not well washed sheets and towels. The second night the AC froze and strated leaking in the middle of the room, so much that I had to place a pale under it. This is not what you expect from a Hampton Inn property. The breakfast was good. Checked inn at 2 am with the HH app and digital key that worked right. There was only one security at the property.

United States of AmericaThe Valet!! I had two negative experiences with the Valet. 1. Trying to hand over my keys for Valet service, and there were two Valet workers talking. After waiting for a few minutes the man who seemed like the manager (or in charge of the Valet) snapped at me when I said, “excuse me I’m sorry to interrupt, but I’m in a hurry and wanted to drop my keys off.” His response was, “We are in the middle of a conversation.” So, I had to awkwardly stand there as they talked until he said, “now, it’s you’re turn.” I could get over this incident easily until later at departure, I hand my ticket over to get my car back. There was a long line, so my husband and I expected to wait no biggie. After 25 mins, I noticed we are the only people in the lobby and the same man is watching tik toks loudly on his phone and our car is no where to be seen. I didn’t want to speak to him because of my bad experience, so my husband asked him if our car was coming and they had forgot about us! His first response was, “who did you give your ticket to?” and I said, “you.” He just then went to get our car as if we inconvenienced him from his Tik Tok watching moment. I loved our stay, but the Valet left me feeling extremely irritated and honestly I just felt like a problem.
cleanliness, location, thoughtfulness, safety, front desk staff are the best… shoutout to Hillary!!
