You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was chilly when we arrived. The thermostat in our room did not work. Apparently it needed batteries. The clerk from the front desk came in to look at it. Since the cover was locked there was nothing she could do to replace the batteries. There is no one on site to do that. She kindly changed our room because we needed heat. The 2 breakfasts were very disappointing. The food is excellent served from 6 til 10. However they ran out of food both mornings. We made do with oatmeal, an orange and banana on Sat. Sun same thing. No eggs, no bacon. We went out to a restaurant for breakfast. Don't they count the number of guests and judge accordingly? $428.50 is a lot of money for 2 nights.
We have stayed there before. The rooms are great. Very quiet. Comfy beds and pillows. The locations is convenient to the Univ of Dubuque.

The ice machine at the end of the 2nd floor hallway didn't have ice. Sunday breakfast was a bust :( went out to breakfast. Seems a bit expensive nightly stay. Asked if I could use my AARP discount and it would have actually cost more.
The Saturday breakfast was great! Staff thoughtful and friendly

Strange drive to get to it, but not a huge deal. Our room did have a super sticky spot in the carpet between the beds so we kept our shoes on. Conditioner wouldn’t pump out. There were leftovers from someone else in our frig.

I didn't like the way you all billed me you all billed me two times in one day which put my checking account at a zero balance which really inconveniences me. So I had to transfer money from another account which I shouldn't have had to do .
The room was wonderful and clean and i like being able to get Netflix

Get better pillows!
Everything was great except for the pillows. They were all lumpy! I'm guessing the were the "My Pillows". I don't know anyone who actually likes those.

The breakfast was just Ok
The gal at the front desk was awesome! The pool was closed because of glass and she gave us breakfast vouchers and a discount on our rooms. She also gave our 2 grandsons free hot chocolate and was so nice and friendly. I wish I could remember her name!!

Nice place. The room and bed was nicer than I expected for the price. I was just at a $300 a night hotel for a business conference the night before and the room here was as nice if not nicer than that one.

I really like how clean it was, and I like it wasn’t an old building. Unfortunately not much choices for continental breakfast, but probably due at the fact that is not a turistic area, but I sure enjoyed the pancakes

No bathroom fan. Otherwise, great.
Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety. My grandson enjoyed "building" his own waffles, and I appreciated vegetarian choices.

They ran out of most of the food at breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Also, the rooms are not very sound proof.

I would have liked a room that was not next to the elevator it was pretty noisy but overall we have stayed at this motel one or two times a year for the last 15 plus years and we really like it.

I expected to be closer to downtown area. It did facilitate getting back on the road the next morning, though

TV service was difficult. Our room looked out on a cement wall no more than 4 feet away from the building. We did not complain but should have. Rates were steeper because of homecoming in town.
Good breakfast. Stayed 3 days and room not cleaned. Was not informed you had to specify you wanted cleaning the night before.
