Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit on the older side, felt old and location was tucked away next to a torn down building.

Breakfast: The oatmeal was not eatable and the only healthy options were joghurt and fruits. Scrambled eggs from the package (so not really eggs at all). Bagels, bread, waffles, that was it. Very disappointing!
Spacious room and super clean bathroom with a tub, cupboard was super small.

The kids wanted swimming pool access, one of the reasons we booked this hotel. However during our stay it was shut for maintenance, kids were a little too disappointed.
It was good, clean family environment.

The street leading to the hotel needs more lights. Not much the hotel can do for that but the city needs to fix any that are broken. It was shady looking driving in at night.
Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly at the front desk, breakfast area and everyone else we passed that worked there.

Free WiFi that requires us to sign-up for some membership with the hotel is not really 'free'. Although the membership is free, it takes time to review all terms and conditions and you have to provide personal data to sign up.
Free shuttle service provided by the hotel was a really nice addition. Without it we would be stranded on the airport. I am not sure if the service is available during night hours, but they picked us up around 10PM without problems.

When I arrived at the hotel, very tired, I had a great deal of difficulty checking in. I had my confirmation number from Booking.com, but the clerk on duty said that it wasn't the Hampton Inn number and he couldn't check me in. After a long period, he said that there was note saying that I was already checked in. After another period they checked the room that I supposedly was in and was told that it was, indeed occupied. Ultimately, he gave me another room, I wasn't sure that there wouldn't be a charge. Fortunately, a more senior person came in and sorted everything, but I had lost two hours of rest just trying to get checked in.
The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable, and the television had sufficient channels to meet my needs.

No tea in room. Person who checked me in didn't tell me that tea was available at all times in lobby. She also didn't tell me what time breakfast was or ask if I would need airport shuttle even though I arrived that way. I had to ask for everything at a time when I was dead tired. I wish there had been a restaurant.

TV bugged our entire stay...something wrong with satellite, apparently. Staff was aware, but it was never resolved.

Nothing really sticks out. Staff incredibly friendly. The pool maybe a very, very strong chlorine smell
Location was a little bit tucked away but grew on me quickly as just a short drive/uber to a lot of things to do. They also have a shuttle but didn't use. I ended up extending my stay an additional staff/Sabrina was incredibly polite and helpful. They have a wonderful HOT breakfast and nice dinning area. Also enjoyed the patio area. Will absolutely stay again

For the breakfast: many people are not eating pork. but, they would eat eggs and potatoes. However, they are all sharing the same chafing dish. It would be better to separate each one

They were very nice and did an amazing job of picking me up from the airport. Amazing kind staff and I was very happy to stay at this hotel for one night. Both guys taking me to and from Dulles were fantastic.

We did not like the temperature of the pool.
The shuttle service was great, the driver was very polite and respectful. The breakfast was more than we expected, there were many options for both drinks and food. The room size was good and we liked that there was a microwave available.
