previously, the pool was a bit chilly, so a couple more degrees would help with this. I purposely book this hotel for the indoor pool as my arthritis means that I am no longer able to run on land and water jogging/running is necessary.

This hotel is the perfect midway stop for what is becoming a regular trip to south Texas. I stayed this trip after a previous stay was successful. My primary reason for booking was the indoor pool but I did not use it this trip since I got in late. On my return trip, I stayed at it again and expect we will continue to use this facility. Thanks again.

The pool was not very clean nor was the area around the pool. They had cricket (dead and alive) every where. The hot tub was covered and not useble.

The location was great. There were alot of businesses and restaurants around. The breakfast was ok but was missing a few favorites such as has browns, biscuits and gravy. They only had one (1) waffle machine and it was old. They ran out of waffle mix after our 1st morning.

You have to ask for room service, so the day before I asked for our room to be derby the next morning and when we can’t back our room was not done.

I do wish hotels, in general, would provide an accurate channel guide. The shower head and drain weren't the best.

The bagel egg was unique and tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

The breakfast area is very small. You can only fit 3 or 4 families comfortably. We typically love staying at Hampton Inn, but this particular one was below standard for the chain.

There is lots to do around that area. Great shopping and entertainment.

The pool wasn't as clean as I'd like and it needed some renovation with old broken equipment but was working well, 4 out of 5. Hot tub was broken and boarded up. The bed was hard and uncomfortable with pillows that weren't firm enough.

The room was good, nice and cool when we walked in, room was clean. Carpet is a little old in the room and the halls. Everything was good EXCEPT THE MATTRESS. The mattress was Hard and uncomforatable. That is one of the things we want most in a room is to be able to relax and go to sleep and stay asleep. We both woke up several times in the night because the mattress was hard.

Breakfast was great, Coffee could be a little stronger (accordind to my husband). Food was great, everything we wanted.. Location was great.

There was no dark curtain over the window in my room, only a see-through curtain that let the outside light in. My room was on the front parking lot side of the hotel and there were bright lights illuminating the parking lot . . . and my room. Made it difficult to sleep at night.
