To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything. Shuttle service excellent, to and from airport. But also drops off at railway station. 3-4 stops on train and you're in Boston. Breakfast had plenty of options. Very comfortable beds. Could get a coffee/tea in meal area even after breakfast. Wonderful staff. Reasonably priced for Boston. It is a very expensive city.

I loved how close the hotel was to the airport and the fact there was free shuttle to the airport even though I didn't need to use it. There was also a Target and gas station across the street. I the little pull out tables was an added touch and the closet door that also served as the bathroom door. I didn't stay very long, but on my next trip, I will be utilizing the pool and fitness center.

The shuttle service. They provide frequent enough shuttles, and they not only take you to and from the airport, they also take you to the closest subway station, from where a train can be taken to go to central Boston in a few stops! Several options for breakfast (also healthy ones).

Shuttle service was efficient. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lobby and eating areas were clean and comfortable. Gym was spacious, clean and well equipped. It has a laundry facility for guests.

United States of AmericaThere was a bright light in the bathroom (low vent with bright light for some reason) that I couldn't figure out how to turn off so I covered it with towels. The mattress was comfy - I wish the top blanket felt a little softer/less scratchy. Intro email seemed outdated and said check-in couldn't happen after 11pm, which worried me, but it was definitely ok to check in after 11 (I called ahead of time and the person was very friendly).
