We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe air conditioning really needs fixed. The lobby was hot, the hallways were hot, the air conditioner in the room barely kicks out enough air. Glad I brought my fan from home. The shower curtain is like a liner, not even long enough. Water went all over the floor. Bathtub is slippery and needs a mat or something you can put inside.
Did not eat breakfast. The lobby was so warm and uncomfortable that I didn’t even bother.

United States of AmericaStandard wifi did not work, so I used my phone data plan instead. I find it unacceptable that I should have to pay extra for “premium” wifi (i.e., wifi that works) in a hotel. This should be included. On my way home from Ohio I needed to stay another night in a hotel, and I avoided Hampton Inn for this reason. Holiday Inn Express hotels have never charged me extra for good wifi, so I stayed there instead. I’ll be avoiding Hampton Inns in the future in general for this reason, unless there are no other good alternatives.
