Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHallways weren't lit very well, gave me kind of a creepy feeling. The "continental breakfast" was lame! Paper bag with bottle of water, 2 cereal bars & fruit cup. Bathroom light & fan are on the same switch, annoying noise.
The room was very clean & uniquely decorated. Staff was friendly & helpful. Overall decorated nicely & clean.

United States of AmericaThe hotel looked like it hadn’t been taken care of in months. The elevator made loud creaky noises (while being jolty), the rooms had slightly ripped wallpaper, they were reusing bed sheets with stains on them, the tables/desks had multiple scratches/chips in them, they assigned us a room that already belonged to someone else (we accidentally walked into the room and luggage was everywhere). Overall, it felt as if the hotel hadn’t been touched in a while and someone was trying to save money by not making proper repairs and reusing old items that should’ve been replaced for hygienic reasons. It used to be a Holiday Inn but looks like it got bought out by someone who doesn’t know how to properly take care of a hotel.
The staff were very kind. There was enough parking. The shower had hot powerful water, which is sometimes overlooked and is one of my big criticisms for a hotel, so I was very happy about that.

United States of AmericaThe bathtub had a hard time draining. I had to stop my shower and let it drain then continue. I would like to be told if I'm being put into an adjoining room.
The room was what I booked.

United States of AmericaClear signs of wear on walls and trim, water damage, etc. The bedside lighting was jarringly bright, with no dimmer adjustment. "Grab & go" breakfast was minimal: bottle of water, small granola fruit bar. The small container of cut fruit was appreciated, tho. The new toilet's handle didn't flush easily: we needed to remove the lid and pull the chain by hand.
This hotel is transitioning from a (fairly run down) Hampton Inn to a Holiday Inn, the staff told us. Some important upgrades have already happened: the bed was *exceptionally* comfortable, shower head is a new one, desk area and its lighting very nice. Looked like a new fridge.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that I had to drive a half mile up the road to go left because of the traffic pattern due to three concrete divider. Also need a continental breakfast or at least a vending machine.
Good location, close to Ross Park Mall, PNC Park and hospitals.

United States of AmericaThis is the 2nd time we've stayed here and both times there were people loudly playing music in the lobby and in there rooms, it makes it very hard to get any sleep. The first time we thought it was a flaw, but wondering now if it is a common theme?
The price was good, staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was perfect for where we were going.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was a "grab and go" boxed breakfast. Front desk personal could be more welcoming and friendly; offered a flat asked "Can I help you?" and "Name?" Nonetheless, efficient and no nonsense.
Coffee in the lobby was very good. The lobby was bright and clean. Room was comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

United States of AmericaThere were 6 or so scruffy looking men hanging around, got the feeling it was a recovery space for alcoholics or something but they were fine and didn't bother me, it was just kind of strange because it was dark and kind of a desolate highway area and i had to wait outside a bit. The location is also a bit difficult to get to and from because McKnight Road is a divided 4 lane at 45mph and the hotel is around a curve area on a hill. This made getting an uber a lengthy experience and pulling out to leave was stressful because of the traffic. I have stayed before and I'll likely stay again. McKight road was the only real downside.
The hotel served its purpose and was reasonable. Appears to have been updated by new owners. Lobby free coffee was good, accommodations were clean.

United States of AmericaThe room was lacking a hair dryer and the mirror was cracked in the bathroom. Staff shouldn't talk about how understaffed they are and say how it would be very hard to get fired from their job. I was also hoping that the sign would have been uncovered and not in a blue tarp and that the water fountain garden would have been cleaned up by now. Same signs from 14 months ago.
The staff was quick to bring the requested items to the room. The suite shop had reasonably priced items and the on-demand coffee and breakfast-to-go were appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable.
