To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was good. Close enough to Truist park, downtown and there was a shopping establishment 5 min away with lot’s of shops.

United States of AmericaThe staff. While getting breakfast, the lady followed me and came off rude. It was annoying. I didn't feel welcome. Bathroom shelf was so dusty. The foot rest in the shower was broken and glued on there with cock. Just more flaws.

United States of AmericaMy niece daughter accidentally spilled her cereals on the floor while having breakfast and we tried to picked up the cereals from the floor but the staff give us a vacuum cleaner without saying anything. We vacuum the mess and the guests that were having breakfast were looking at us. It could have been nice if the staff could have said “ don’t worry I’ve got these”.
