Reserved a king room and was told at arrival that rooms were overbooked and we had to be moved to a room with 2 queens which I think were actually fulls and they wanted to charge me almost $100 more then my booking price for the room.

The breakfast was not good. The French toast sticks were hard. The fruit to put on waffles was still frozen. The eggs were just okay. Not many choices. The bathroom sink was hard to use. The faucet was too low and wouldn’t stay on.

The property was very nice. The pool looked good but we didn’t use it. The gym was nicer than most hotels. The room was clean and spacious.

The bed was awful. Very uncomfortable and too hard. The room was very clean with the exception of a few long black hairs in the bedding. For reference, I am blonde and my husband has short brown hair. Otherwise our stay was good.

There was syrup all over the ketchup packets at breakfast and the store they have in house had a limited number of drinks and other items. If you are going to offer a store as a convenience to your guests then you should make it so they don't have to go across the street to Meijer to get what they really want. Like basic stuff not anything complex.

There was continuous loud noise and banging in the room above us the entire weekend. The carpet in the elevators need to be replaced. The housekeeping staff started knocking on the door at 10 am and then again at 11:30 to clean the room when check out was at noon.

The location was perfect. Hotel is very close to the highway, as well as plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The lobby was clean. I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Parking was free, and the grounds were clean.

Grant it, I'm a smoker and had to smoke outside. Which is nor a problem because of respect. No outside seating and a couple cigarettes were put out in the parking lot. I'm guessing an employee wearing gym shorts, came around and picked them up before I could, along with other garbage that wasn't ours and called me a f'ing douche bag. Tried talking to him, but after that comment, I wasn't too happy.

One of the main complaints about hotels is the water pressure. Not this place!!! The water pressure was awesome.

The room temperature was set at 68 when I arrived. I think 68 is great in the winter but too chilly for summer. This is a mild complaint I would not have mentioned if not for the question of what I didn’t like. It was easily remedied. I am so glad hotel rooms have thermostats these days!

The woman working the front desk the evening of June 7, 2023 was very professional. The temperature and humidity in the lobby and halls was good. Everything seemed clean and I did not see anything that was damaged or broken.
