The sink stopper was stuck, causing water not to drain. The refrigerator was not stable. The stand where it was located was heavily damaged causing it to rock when opened. The room was not cleaned, even though I intentionally left the do not disturb hanging tag off of the door. It was a two day stay.

Location was convenient. Breakfast was very minimal, room was clean but things were not stocked in the bathroom. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

No ice in the ice machines and vending machines in the upper levels' "ice and vending" areas. Elevator near check-in was out of order - caused customers to have to walk through back hallways to use another elevator.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfasts provided were good. Variety of food to choose from.

I was traveling with my 7 and 8-year-old kids. When we arrived, the pool and hotel are under renovation, which will be great when it's done. I would not have booked the hotel had we known the pool and the hotel were under renovation. The staff did call the Embassay suites next door and they granted us access to use their pool, the gesture was greatly appreciated. The pool and hot tub at the Embassy suites was poorly maitained at the time. We did stay for a bit and again appreciated the opportunity for them to burn off some energy after a very long car ride.

Great location, easy to get to, and felt very safe with the surrounding environment. We booked the hotel specifically because a pool is listed on the website. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and helped us sort out our concerns with their renovation and pool.

I didn't like being double charged but they fixed it. When we first got the woman charged me again after paying with booking.com I asked her about it she told me it was a 100 deposit so I checked my account they took 374 from my account so I went down stairs and talked to a gentleman he was rude basically saying I didn't paid so I had to call booking.com cause he said he had to hear from them that I paid after I showed him they took it out of my account so booking had to call him to tell him I paid already so he refunded my account back. I was not happy. They turn off the water from 9-4 because of renovations that's crazy they need people know before booking.

We would have appreciated having a pull-out couch for the price we paid. My brother had to sleep on the floor. The man working the counter was a bit rude to us. The snacks and drinks for sale behind the counter were expired.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The air conditioning in our room got ice cold. The hotel was quiet and the free coffee was appreciated.

The keys did not work half the time. The elevators did not work. The pool was tinny and closed early and did not have any towels. Tables where not clean at breakfast time had to do it yourself. And travel with family and friends we where all on different floors not close. We tried calling to get that option but we could not we could only use bookit.com so could not ask questions before getting to the hotel for room options to stay by family.

The staff was nice. The breakfast was good.

it was unkempt. at first sight at front door flower pots all unraveling. walk in lobby and overpowering smell of air freshener. did not do daily cleaning of my room. asked for hangers upon check in and never received.

The double charge for incidental at check in

The breakfast was good could have been better but it was okay but my main reason for answering the questions here is because we were charged double for the two rooms for incidental that we were not aware of and was told that we would receive a refund for that and haven’t as of yet

We were NOT informed about the remodeling which we understand because our room was dingy, stained, wallpaper peeling, bathtub & stool stained, carpet stained, furniture stained. We asked for a better room and was told they didn't have one. That wasn't true. There was a storm and we found out people's homes lost power and they came in late that same night we got there. The pool we thought we were going to use was drained. On top of all this the construction was so loud, laitterly jack hammering in room above us, from 9 am to 5 pm. We couldn't hear each other talk face to face without yelling The topper came when they shut off our water for 4 hours. Extremely upset with this hotel. We couldn't leave because we paid $660.00 non-refundable. Will NEVER stay at another Hampton and we've already told our friends. This hotel was in Memphis.
