The customer service was great. Gabre greeted us upon our arrival and was able to get us into our room early. She was so friendly and welcoming. We were in town for the mens NCAA basketball final four tournament. Our first two nights in town we stayed in another hotel in North Phoenix. Then when our team won their final four game we booked the Hampton Inn and Suites for our remaining days in town. Gabre was a breath of fresh air from where we had stayed the first two nights. The hotel and rooms were newly renovated and very clean. The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to in Downtown Phoenix for the various NCAA final four events. There were also plenty of restaurants, bars, and breweries in walking distance.

We were disappointed there was no pool. Parking was expensive.

Breakfast was very good. Hot and plentiful. Clean, well stocked and staffed. Rooms were very nice. Plenty of room. Could have used more drawer space but we managed.

Housekeeping did not fully refresh room each day. Parking was valet and cost $42 per day.

The property was an easy walk to the convention center and close to many restaurants. Breakfast was good and available early.

We had an awful water pipe knocking from our shower, which made it difficult to keep sleeping once the first person in our room was awake. Not many grab n go options for breakfast.

Came to tour ASU Downtown Phoenix campus and catch the opening series of 2024 MLB. Hotel was walking distance to both, and was 15 minutes or less from the airport...but not at all noisy.

Valet parking - paying for the parking and I felt pressure of giving gratuity every time I needed my car.
