Good location

When I checked in, the inner door was locked for security purposes. I appreciate this. But my wife had literally checked in and beat me by 5 minutes. The night desk clerk walked right by the door and glanced at me and offered no help or ackowledge my presence. I am older and was well dressed so it wasn't like I was going to rob the place. I had to pick up the phone and call. He then asked for identification, handed me my key and said it's on the second floor and hurriedly went to the back. Next morning I checked out and wanted to make sure my Honors number had been recorded. I was told that after check in it could not be added. WHAT?? This is absolutely ridiculous, This analogous to handing my credit card to pay the room, then getting room service and saying, "sorry, the initial card stamp that I used for checkin is all that I am paying and I can't pay any more because the card already was used. I explained that the night guy was not helpful at all and suddenly he offered to enter the number. Whether it went through of not remains to be seen. I am skeptical, but come on Hilton -- get your act together. The airlines allow you to enter frequent flyer numbers after a trip if you forget to add it when you book the flight.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Seemed to be clean. Convenient location for our purposes.

The loud airplanes. Taylor Swift concert was happening the weekend we stayed so rooms were very expensive

The breakfast was very good! The staff were exceptionally helpful and gave us great ideas to walk for dinners (2); both were some of the best food we had for 2 weeks!

facilities were falling apart - our shower head was hanging out of the wall and we had a large roach in bathroom. the windows are very thin… can hear club music thumping until 2am; apparently the night club in question is .25-.5 miles away from hotel.

My shower door would not stay closed during my shower. I had to use wet wash cloths to stop it from rolling open. Posting a daily breakfast menu the night before would be helpful. I woke up early for breakfast and the only meat option was eckridge smoked sausage.

I loved the decor of the entire hotel (lobby and rooms).

Traffic noise, including planes as well as the usual hallway noise. I can never understand why hotels don’t insulate their rooms better.

Hotel was close to airport and up to Hampton Inn standards as I’ve come to expect.

Everything was great. We only stayed for the night, so did not see or use too much of the facility.

The room was well lit and clean. It had the standard coffee maker and fridge. The toilets were clean and well maintained. The fresh hot breakfast was the highlight.

The staff was excellent. I left an IPad and housekeeping turned it in immediately. I was called and emailed promptly. I so appreciated the staff for being so thoughtful.

the breakfast. we were there an hour before it closed and the omelettes were gone replaced by scrambled eggs that weren’t tasty. may have been egg substitute. also didn’t like they only had turkey sausage. I am annoyed when people force you to eat what they think is healthy and don’t offer an alternative. disappointing. my grandson didn’t eat because nothing appealed to him. he wanted the omelette. also don’t like there was no bathtub. we had a baby to bathe and a 4 year old. not everyone takes showers. don’t like getting my hair wet or damp.

clean, your lady at the desk was very nice and she allowed us to celebrate our grandson’s birthday in the dining area.

Just the location and the run down appearance of the business next door causing the hotel to look run down. In conjunction with the hotel outside remodeling, maybe some curb appeal, IE flowers and trees, could be thought of for the hotel so it makes it look less dreary.

Hotel is exceptionally clean! Staff was very pleasant and we enjoyed the room. The beds are VERY comfortable. Breakfast was great! My only issue is the area, it wasn't overly close to shopping or a lot of restaurants and such and a tire place is next door making it look a bit run down. They are remodeling the outside of the hotel, which i think will help. If you're outside, you'll see and hear the planes but you cant hear them in your room thankfully. Otherwise, its a very nice property and I would happily stay again bc despite the location, it was motivating to leave and drive around and explore Tampa.

Over all a good hotel. Breakfast was good and enjoyed our stay. Needed a hanicap room however they were not able to accomadate, but over all nice accomodations.

Our night's sleep wasn't as sound as it could have been due to a very loud party of people on our floor from 1am to 3am yelling in the hallway and although staff was great this problem wasn't addressed by them.
