We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI was really upset when I showed up and there wasn’t a hot tub like the pictures showed and that it said online. The only reason I chose this location or hotel was because of the hot tub, so to arrive and not have a hot tub was really upsetting.

United States of AmericaBummed that the hot tub was down “indefinitely”. The gal at desk was none too thrilled to be there. We were in the lobby again later to purchase drinks and witnessed her dealing with a few others checking in and she wasn’t friendly with them either. The WORST part though..barn doors as bathroom doors that don’t lock?! Uh, no thank you.
Loved the overall facility! Rooms were modern and comfy. Easy check in and out. Love the barn doors!

The room was nice, but the refrigerator was a bit small. Also the barn doors on the bathroom were terrible. No privacy at all. They shouldn't be right next to the bed. Bathroom doors used to be near the entrance way as you come into the room. And an actual door was used to enter the bathroom. The tub was draining too slow. The Ice machine was filthy. People were allowed to have their pets in the hotel,. And that caused allergy, and allergic issues in the bedrooms. You can tell that some pet owners allow their dogs or cats or whatever to sleep in the beds. No matter what, you could still smell dogs on your comforter from a previous person who use the room that might of have had an animal staying in their room. The hotel should have pet friendly, and none pet rooms.

The breakfast at Hampton - well, you can live on it I suppose. Hamptons used to have really nice cookies at the reception area but not anymore I guess.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was somewhat unappetizing (eggs especially). Price was consistent with what I expected for late July in Traverse City, though still hard to swallow. Drive to downtown area. Difficult (impossible) to turn left to get downtown during peak hours.
Location was good right across from the State beach. Facilities were clean. Pool was lovely. On site parking. 24 hour coffee.

I like the Hampton Inn, always have a comfortable stay.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast definitely could have been better. The limited cereal choice was disappointing as was the coffee. Hampton Inns used to have great coffee and some where along the way it is now too weak. Maybe that’s just my own tastebuds drinking stronger coffee lately!!!!
Everything was fine. Not like Hampton Inn’s used to be but fine. They used to be just a little better all around. The Breakfast was just ok. I would say that overall we have been noticing that Hampton Inn’s are fine for an overnight or two but not as comfortable as they used to be. We recently stayed at a Hampton Inn in Clarion, PA and were disappointed so we were glad to arrive in TC and at least have a decent stay.
