Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNothing but unfortunately I had changed my dates and they didn’t change in my calendar, so the hosts had to clean up and put our stuff out as we didn’t check out.
Very nice property, easy access. Communication was easy.

United KingdomCutlery to eat food would have been helpful (room had microwave and fridge). We could smell the food of the hosts through the heating system very strongly. We were having some difficulties checking in and the hosts did not come out/ greet us at any point.
Stayed in order to visit the national park. Room was very clean and comfortable. We received a coffee machine when we asked for it.

United KingdomNothing - it was a perfect stay!
Our stay at Happy Trails Inn was great. Our room was clean, had all the amenities that we needed and was comfortable and as we expected it to be. We didn't have any interaction with the hosts as we had no problems during our stay but know from the booklet they provided that they would have been available if we need any assistance. We would absolutely stay again if we came back to Bryce Canyon.

United States of AmericaWas a little far off the main road, which is a good and bad thing.. not very walkable to restaurants or coffee shop, but that also made the accommodations private/quiet and relaxing.
Not too far from Bryce Canyon NP and in a cute little town that had dinner and breakfast options. Comfy bed, nice view of the mountains out the porch doors, and very quiet environment.

FranceCheck-in process very complicated, possibly due to the fact that the booking occurred on the same day as the stay itself. I received more than 17 e-mails in a short period of time, most of them having exactly the same content. The payment process, including some sort of down payment, was not very clear either.
Very quiet place, close enough from the Bryce Canyon National Park. Clean room. Well furnished. Environmental protection behavior to be noticed.

United States of AmericaThe house was a little dark and hard to find at night. There was an open bottle of milk left in one of the refrigerators.
Rooms were very comfortable and warm. Bonus for friendly cats.

Very nice room, with lots of space. All the staff were amazing, doing everything to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property. A much better choice than staying in the park.

CanadaThe room had the basics. We were there during a cold snap. The bare floors were so cold, even with socks on. The king bed came with four gigantic thick pillows. Great for watching TV but a couple of smaller pillows for sleeping would have been nice. (We checked and none were available)
These rooms are a 2 story motel -style building, attached to a home in rural Tropic. The room had a French door that opened to a walkway with a nice bench to take in the afternoon sun and play with the resident cats and dog in the big yard. There is a second Happy Trails BNB around the corner where you could pick up a coffee in the morning or evening, and pay for breakfast if you like.

United States of AmericaLoud toilet flushing from room above - could hear lots of noise from room above and talking from room next door. The flooring in the rooms is laminate- I prefer carpet. The breakfast cost $20 extra per person and a cleaning fee of $56 was charged after we left. This on top of the $360 we paid for one night stay (two rooms)
Clean. Cute kitties just outside the property to greet us. Quiet - just on outskirts of town

United States of AmericaThe thermostat wasn't in the room and it was set to Arctic, which wasn't so bad after spending the day in the hot sun. But after we acclimated to the room then the Arctic winds blew out of the the vents. We were confused because when I first looked at staying here I was on the Happy Trails Bed and Breakfast. But when we decided to stay 3 nights instead of 1 we were switched to Happy Trails West Inn, which does not serve breakfast. Also when I first sat on the bed, I thought the mattress was going to be too hard but it wasn't and I slept really good. It was firmer than my home mattress but not firm enough where it hurt my back.
The room was adequate. It wasn't too small to where we felt cramped. It was a comfortable sized room. The room was clean, although my wife found 3 hairs on the sheet when she turned back the covers. However she thought the sheets were the most comfortable of any place we've stayed. We liked how the room was decorated and everything looked brand new.

United States of AmericaThe walls need sound proof insulation! We stayed in Room 1 and our headboard backs up the the bathroom plumbing and the TV the hung on the joining walls. All night we could hear their TV and if they went to shower or flush the toilet we could hear it clearly so our sleep was not good at all. For security purposes it would be nice to have a latch at the top of the door. Also, I couldn’t find an iron.
We liked the location, the place was clean and linens & bed were good.
