Wished our room would have been on the first floor & facing the channel, but our room was comfortable & clean.

B-fast was ok. I was thinking that it would b a warm b-fast, but what we had was very nice & presented well.

The room was quite small, but it was nicely decorated. The bathroom was a little cramped for space, but the shower was large. I would have liked a towel hook closer to the shower.

The woman working at the reception desk (Deb?) was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was cozy, the bed was very comfortable. I liked the option to have heat in the bathroom.

Jets on Jacuzzi tub were not appealing.

T&e location across from the boardwalk wa@ excellent. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I love the quantness of the Inn.

We were on the third floor and the absence of an elevator was a bit of a struggle with our luggage.

This was a very comfortable hotel with good rooms. The breakfast had freshly cooked pastries and cakes. There was a comfortable lounge and the hotel was close to the centre of Grand Haven.

The steep steps to my second floor room were a challenge for my heavy garment bag (I had attended a wedding in Milwaukee the day before I checked in) and my big box of sweaters (I knew the weather would be chillier than my current Las Vegas home). But that’s my problem, not the inn’s.

First of all, its location: Overlooks the harbor, walking distance to downtown, the boardwalk to the South Pier, and the Tip (IYKNYK). Second, the place exudes charm. It’s beautifully furnished, and my room had a gas fireplace with a comfortable seating area, as well as a view of the harbor. Third, the staff was just amazing. Sally, Deb, and Chris (a former classmate of mine) were the perfect hostesses; they made me feel like a member of the family. Fourth the continental breakfast was perfect. There was fruit, cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and a daily selection of homemade quick breads — one day, cinnamon swirl bread to toast. Fifth, the housekeeping was impeccable. My room was neat as a pin every day. If you want a taste of Grand Haven, this is the place to stay.

There was nothing we didn’t like, well maybe that we couldn’t stay longer.

The location is excellent, short walk into town to stores and restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and served in their lovely breakfast room. Each morning there was a fire in the fireplace.

For us this is such a very minor detail, but being situated where it is, they have no dedicated parking lot. There is a free community parking lot just across the street. We have stayed at large hotels in big cities and have had to pay quite the fee just to park. I’ll walk across the street for free parking with no complaints.

We loved where it was located next to the Harbor. We could walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean, comfortable, and larger than most we stay in.

Spa blower fan was a bit loud. Maybe it was normal, we haven't much experience with those.

The room size was very generous. The spa tub was a treat I had forgotten about. We plan to stay there again and bring a few more family members for a get together. We were arriving late, so they put our key in an envelope and we found it exactly as planned. I was a bit worried about that aspect, but it was a non-issue.

This is my 2nd time staying at the inn and we highly recommend it. The rooms are so charming, comfortable and cozy. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great location!
