The heating and refrigerator gave problems but the staff was prompt to sort out the problems. The bed was a little more on the firm side. The room near an active street. Hearing the guests upstairs and thin walls.

Lovely friendly people and such a beautiful room looking out over the ocean, so clean and a bottle of fizzy for us to celebrate our anniversary. So close to lovely eating places and then a walk from Sam's Chowder House on the beach, beautiful.

The nice-looking room seems freshly renovated. Loved the fireplace. The coffee machine at the lobby is a big plus. Killer view over bay. Walking distance to local brewery and restaurants. Stormy whether contributed to nice night sleep. It was quiet and peaceful.

Great location for people who pass by Half Moon Bay, right on the road. A couple of great restaurants nearby (La Costanera for dinner, The Press for Breakfast). The rooms are really nice and cozy.

There was a loose tile in the bathroom, nothing terrible but you could hear it when you’d step over it.

The concierge was so polite and attentive. Room was clean and it was quiet despite how close it is to the street.

Slight noise from guests on floor above, moving chairs and heavy footed woman in high heels but not too late into evening! Reception very polite and helpful and nice tea/coffee and fruit juices available.

Modern, very good facilities in the bedroom and en-suite, well thought out bathroom with excellent vanity and mirror lighting.

There is very poor sound proofing between the rooms, I could hear everything from the room next door. Fortunately they were fairly quiet and went to bed early. Ear plugs are provided so the hotel is obviously aware of the issue.

Rooms have recently been refurbished with lots of great touches like USB ports. Very clean, bed extremely comfortable.

Bath towels too small!

Tina upgraded us to a room with a king-size bed, which was much appreciated and she was very friendly when we checked in. We liked the room's white and blue color scheme...not fussy, just cool and relaxing, and it was quiet. Water pressure was fine in the shower; our only negative would be the size of the bath towels...more suitable for children than adults. Matt was at the front desk in the morning when we checked out and he was also very pleasant and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again (and hope that new larger towels would be in place). Weren't able to make it onto the state beach due to the recent heavy rains creating a stream we would have had to cross. Visited Half Moon Bay's old Main Street and, based on recommendations of locals, went to J. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. It was wonderful, with lovely walks through cypress and other trees to the beach access, where we visited tidepools and walked the beach itself. Beautiful area.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The bedding is crystal white! All Inn’s windows have an ocean view. Coffee machine in the lobby that makes variety of coffees: cappuccino, latte, americano and etc. Personnel are nice and accommodating.
