I loved everything about the experience staying there with the exception of the breakfast. It was sparce, bagels, a few pastries along with dry cereal and Oatmeal. Some limited fruit as well. I loved staying there and will again in the future!!

Harbor Winds is located on the water in the Sheboygan harbor. It is a short walk to restaurants and museums. The continental breakfast was good and the room was quiet and comfortable.

Not clean in some areas, our tub was very dirty. Things a little outdated. We felt the price was a little high as well. Queen bedrooms should face the water as well, disappointed we were parking lot side.

There are a couple of areas, availability of replacement towels without a series of suspicious questions regarding whether or not my wife or I already received new sets of towels and when. The other area is the lack of a quality breakfast. Your listing on Booking.com boasts “Breakfast Included“, but what was put out barely qualifies as breakfast. If you want to meet or exceed guest expectations, you need to focus on the variety of breakfast offerings and the quality of them. In response to many reviews you’ve been saying since June that you’ll be making changes to the breakfast offerings. Some responses from you even said these changes would be instituted in September. My wife and I didn’t see these changes. Every day the same Banana nut muffins were put out. There were small amounts of yogurt and other breakfast-type foods put out. Plus the lack of 24-hour coffee and hot water available was a big negative. Most of the time, the staff was observed in the office not appearing to be doing much of anything. Coffee costs pennies to offer to your guests, but it goes a long way as a value-added feature. A hot breakfast with offerings like pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats and a waffle machine will also go a long way with guests, adding even more value to their stay. A lot of things like housekeeping, towels, food and staff friendliness will go a long way to make the rates you charge much more worth it.

Rug had just been cleaned with a product that smelled very strongly, and I was apparently allergic to it. Once windows were opened, aired out well. Breakfast was continental and fairly minimal.

Location on the river is great—nice walking paths along the river; room was spacious.

The room had a little bit of a smell and the bathroom floor didn’t look swept. No elevator and the only ice machine was upstairs.

Breakfast was not much, toaster but no bread to toast. Mostly prepackaged items. No outdoor seating area - patio or balcony overlooking river would’ve been nice. No one at front desk.

No staff at the front desk at night. They no longer serve coffee throughout the night. It was nice for an early riser like myself to grab a cup of Java at 4 AM but that’s a thing of the past. They do have excellent coffee !

Lack of towels, thankfully we brought our own beach towels! Just accepted the fact we'd be a little sandy for the duration of our stay!

Location was perfect! Minimal driving was required, my family was able to walk to so much of the things we wanted to do. The boardwalk is beautiful!! The hotel was nothing fancy but there wasn't much need to be there other than sleep and shower! The room was clean, the staff was kind. The other details pale in comparison to the beauty of Lake Michigan and the memories I made with my kids!!!

Only area of improvement I would say is the breakfast. They had lots of easy to go options, but even simple toast or bagels would be nice. There was a toaster so maybe they were out by the time we went down.

Had a wonderful stay here last weekend! We were in town to do some salmon fishing and the location was PERFECT. Super close to the Marina and local restaurants. This small family-owned hotel out beat any of the large corporate hotels in the area. Highlight of the hotel were the beds, SO comfortable and clean white linens. Overall super impressed with this hotel and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a trailer and boat, plenty of space in their parking lot if you are traveling to town to fish!

Well maintained, boutique hotel, located along the Sheboygan River walk. Walkable to restaurants and short drive to beaches. Professional and pleasant staff, well maintained rooms, and nice mini-breakfast.
