To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI was given a room that was below where part of a little league team was staying. I understand there had been numerous complaints previously about the noise coming from this room from other guests from previous nights . It sounded like the kids were screaming while jumping off the bed. I know the night I stayed the night clerk had to go to that room at least twice and ask the little leaguers to quiet down with limited success. Bottom line my nights stay provided little sleep. I'd been better off sleeping in my car. What I didn't understand is why the lodge put me in a room under what was known problem room, when it was already proven they could not control the unruly occupants,,nor would they enforce hotel noise or partying rules. Just not good hotel management. By giving me that room all Heathman did was create another unhappy client. i doubt I'll stay there again.
Rooms were nice and clean but needed a little maintenance The restaurant was convenient and good.

Front desk staff were super friendly. The bed was comfortable and the coffee at the front desk was great.

United States of AmericaOur shower/tub drain was very, very, very slow. Despite our daily request to front desk to have it fixed, maintenance did not fix it. It was pretty disgusting standing in ankle high bath water. The ATM was out of order.
The bed is comfortable. Stairway to 2nd floor room very accessible. Friendly staff at front desk. I appreciate that the front desk is available 24 hours. Hudson Grill is good! I like that it's in Heathman Lodge!
