We are very happy that we decided to spend some days here. One could really see that she loves being a host. We receiver a warm welcome and she cared a lot about us feeling good all the time. The room was perfectly clean and lovely decorated.

The host, accommodations, and location were outstanding. Very close to the beach, great hiking trails, bakery, and great eateries. The house was also located in a very quiet neighborhood.

Amazing stay. Description very accurate. If you like the beach, hiking trails, surfing, restaurants, and sunny weather. Close to Malibu and Venice. But upscale, safe and very clean.I will be returning with the family soon. Highly recommended. Eliot

Absolutely nothing

What a wonderful experience we’ve had! Lisette is a very caring and friendly host, and it was an honor to get to know her. She can show you all the worthwhile spots in the area and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. We even had the pleasure to accompany her with a walk with her dog, who is a very good boy and eager to show you all his tricks. The rooms are very clean and sizable. Definitely bigger than we had use for with all the activities in the area. Multiple stunning hikes are in the direct vicinity, and you are at just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of LA. All the mayor sights are just a short drive away. If we visit LA again we will definitely return!

Perfect location and a perfect host. You are in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by mountains and only 5 min away from the beach.

Very peaceful neighborhood (big plus in L.A.). Kind and generous host, spacious, modern and clean room and bathroom. We could use the kitchen also and have our breakfast there. The host has many good recommendations for the area. We'll be back.

I enjoyed the stay a lot. Lisette was such a friendly and perfect host. The location is perfect for visiting the area. It is calm and a very safe area. The room was really beautiful and everything was very clean. I could use the kitchen whenever possible and enjoyed my stay a lot.

We had the smaller room with separate bathroom which was a little expensive if you only stay one night due to the cleaning charge- but the cost would be reasonable for longer stays.

We loved the way Lisette treated us and the other guests. We got coffee and additional food all day long. The place ist neat and clean. Location is quiet and secure.

Really nothing. Just be aware that the entrance and kitchen are shared with the host and other guests and that there are 2 dogs on site (they don't bite). If you like to experience an amazing homestay and love animals, this place is great. But if you expect to get your own self-contained apartment or don't like dogs, look somewhere else.

Great location. Lisette was an amazing host. She is also a longtime Los Angeles local who can give you valuable tips and recommendations you won't find on the internet. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Lisette provided coffee and snacks free of charge. Our highlight was Whiskey, Lisette's dog.

In summary, we really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. The house and the backyard are very beautiful. Lisette, the owner is sooo friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to come back again! ☀️☺️

Definitely not a complaint…just more description - this is a one story 3 bedroom house where the owner lives. The bedrooms are off the entry and living room/kitchen, which may not be everyone’s ideal situation, if you’re not into sharing space. But it worked out fine for us!

Price was great for this location! Easy access to Malibu, Santa Monica and Topanga. All areas furnished with high end products and appliances. Our room was quite large with a big screen TV, separate sitting area, walk in closet. We had a gorgeous large bathroom with an open shower design. Lisette is a gracious hostess, providing food, drinks, snacks and fresh fruit everyday. She provided suggestions for the area activities, even inviting us to play pickleball!
