Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe floors in our room were dirty upon arrival. There was no maid service for our stay. For what I paid for the room, I was disappointed that I had to go to the front desk for towels, tissues and cups.
The food was very good, an all you can eat buffet. The facility was attractive. Enjoyed the farm animals onsite. Room temperature was good. Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed.

United States of AmericaThe room, itself, was small and looked plain and non-luxurious. The price (well over $200 per night) was expensive.
The free breakfast was a delicious smorgasbord. The landscape was breathtaking and the farm animals were a joy.

United States of AmericaNo stay over service (we stayed 3 nights ). The rooms that you guys are selling are motel rooms not the hotel rooms. This facility has a hotel and motel. I wish that was written in your description. Full beds are in the motel rooms which are quite small. Hotel rooms have queen size. Also rooms are renovated but quite dark and dusty.
Great breakfast, nice pool. Animals on the farm which is a great addition for kids.

United States of AmericaFarmhouse was great BUT I understand that the lighting outside is for safety purposes and security however we stayed in room 590 and the lights are so bright it’s like the sun is almost shining in the room. For someone who likes to sleep with the room very dark this was quite disappointing. I ended up hanging my clothes around the windows so I could at least black out about a fourth of the light by my head. I suggest that you put some room filtering or room darkening shades in those rooms. I would love to come back and stay in those exact rooms but I will not do that because it’s hard to sleep when it’s so bright I actually have a picture if you’d like to see it how bright it was even with my window covered.

United States of AmericaRoom wasn’t cheap & to me, it was just basic….not bad but nothing special. Water in shower was locked @ a temperature that wasn’t hot enough to my liking. There was a bug on the wall as soon as I went into the bathroom & then a wasp or something flew out of a crack in the wall….so that wasn’t fun to deal with right away. Walls are pretty thin, so expect to hear the rooms next to you. We were given one set of towels….it would’ve been nice to have a few. No extra toilet paper. No extra blankets or pillows. I dunno….again, it just seemed too basic & for the amount I paid per night, they seemed a bit stingy with the amenities. Also….we were told that the buffet was wonderful & honestly it was mediocre @ best. I seriously wanted to like it but we didn’t even use the breakfast coupon for the second day.
Guy @ check in was super nice.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was wonderful. We did not eat dinner there. The room was very clean. It was quite small, though. The location of the room was great. Located by the pond. We sat in the chairs and were entertained by the geese, ducks and swan. We saw the goats, alpacas, and chickens. The flower garden was beautiful. Within walking distance to the Sight And Sound Theatre which we attended.

United States of AmericaMy friend and I did not drive from New York to Pennsylvania (due to the increase in gas), and we stayed in the carriage house. There was no one to carry the luggage to my room when we arrived and no one to pick it up upon leaving. You would have to get ice and do your laundry in another building.
