I booked an 8 bed women’s dorm, but upon arrival something messed up in the system and I was given a bed in a men’s dorm. The front desk associate was kind and helpful in getting me rescheduled to a 4 bed women’s dorm, but I had to pay extra for that’s upgrade as the 8 bed women’s dorm was booked up. I also was not able to room with my friend I was traveling with and booked the original bed with.

The atmosphere was cozy and friendly! Comfy beds, free breakfast, clean kitchen and bathrooms!

For me I am a very light sleeper so being in a room with multiple people I would wake often. But that's a me issue

I was initially scared to stay in a hostel because I was scared of being robbed or harassed. There were lockers provided. The place was well kept and clean. It's not smoking and the location is amazing. My friends and I wished we had known it was like this and we would have stayed there our entire trip. We stayed one night because our airbnb didn't have an opening that night. The breakfast was amazing. This place was amazing.

The water pressure could have been better (but with the amount of people in the hostel, it's understandable). We were on the 5th floor, and the elevator sometimes took forever to get to us (not the hostel's fault, but that might bug some people).

We got a private room for four people and it was great value for money! Loved that they had an ironing board (and iron), and a hair dryer. Most attractions (and the conference center we went to) were within walking distance. I felt safe walking to and from the hostel at all hours despite some unsavory characters around (common in NOLA). Breakfast was great and included an assortment of bread and bagels, as well as cereal, granola, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.

Was a little confused where to find some things in the kitchen (breakfast spreads, sponges for washing dishes) but clued in quick enough. Very minor nitpick though, didn't actually influence my opinion of my experience a bit

Absolutely everything! Vibes off the charts, eco conscious, well maintained, and a sense of subtle community fostered amongst the guests. Can not recommend highly enough

Didn't feel safe a night time around the area

The location is good as it's close to the french quarter but I did not feel safe at night. The room was big for 8 people and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are cleaned quite regularly so never had a issue with a gross bathroom. The free breakfast was okay, but as they ask guests to clean up after themselves sometimes the plates and utensils were dirty.

I am from India and travelled to New Orleans for the AIChE conference in March 2024. I suggest this hostel for those who come for business meetings from India. It was a good breakfast, and it was an unlimited quantity. I liked the breakfast. I liked the 24x7 common kitchen, and we can have coffee/tea anytime.

Awesome bathroom concept, everything top notch. The curtains on beds do make a difference, and they thought about all the small details, like power plugs in the lockers. Friendly staff!
