There is nothing not to like.

It is beautifully equipped, nice and clean. All done with lots of care. Situated only a short drive to Pagosa Springs, but in a rural setting. Easy check in and available for questions. Would always go back again!

There was no propane for the propane grill

The check in process although contactless didn’t feel that way- the property communicated with us continuously - we felt very well attended to. The rooms were stylish, clean, modern and the keyless entry made it a breeze to enter/exit. The hot tubs looked clean & there were plenty of towels available. It was nice there was a grill and picnic areas.

Earlier access to the hot tub. It would have been lovely to set in the hot tube in the early morning with the view of the surrounding white capped mountains!

Parking was next to the cabin. Privacy. Cabin amenities, decor, cabin was clean and inviting. Nice surprise opening the door to see such a lovely place. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Our only complaint would be the style of the sofa in the living area. It was a very low back style and, we prefer a higher back and neck area.

It was a wonderful suite. We loved having a separate bedroom and bathroom area.

This Lodge is the BEST! It is clean, great location, service, laundry that was free to use, and the best rooms you can imagine and they are large. Regular coffee maker, coffee container, huge shower, comfortable beds, special black towel that says for makeup. Towels and wash rags were thick. Real glasses to drink out of. Containers with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. I can't say enough good things about this lodge.

I booked as the property said it was suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, one of whom is a teenager. However, the sofa bed was only suitable for one child so our teenager had it while our younger child had to bunk up with us! Fine for one night in an emergency (which was our situation) but if we'd come for longer it would have been awful. Really more suitable for 2 adults only.

Check in was easy - all done online with codes. The cabin was warm and cosy. The kitchenette was well equipped. The bedroom and wardrobes were spacious. There were enough towels and the toiletries smelled nice.

I could find no “reception office.” We arrived after dark and there were no cars in the parking lot… not very welcoming. However, we had been given entry information and when we texted questions, responses were timely and helpful. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. It took a surprisingly long time for the hot water to come out of the tap.

The two rooms were a nice way to go. Old motel rooms have been updated and one room was converted into a kitchen and living room. The neighboring (connected) room has the beds and bathroom. I was impressed with the functionality of the kitchen. (Coffee grounds and filters provided, basic cookware and dishes ready to use). The rooms were warm enough in the winter and the beds were comfortable. There’s even a small playground for kids.

Room was clean, parking was ideal for someone towing a trailer. Beds were comfortable, location was quiet. Was surprised with no one on site for check in like a traditional hotel, but this was not an issue for us, it was unique.

The mattress.

The room looked like it has been recently updated (new flooring, bathroom/vanilty, etc.). It was very clean. Fridge, MW, coffee & coffee maker. My only complaint is the mattress, I didn't look closely but I think it was a foam mattress and I found it to be very uncomfortable.

While we absolutely loved our stay, there were a few things that we didn't like. The remote in the bedroom for the fan didn't work. So we couldn't turn the fan on, and we stayed pretty warm through the night, even with the air conditioner in the living room running. The cabin was also close to a lake, and there was a pump running nonstop that could be heard from inside, especially the bedroom.

We loved the location. It was just far enough out of Pagosa that we felt like we were in the mountains but close enough to run into town for groceries and meals. The cabin was clean and very spacious.
