Wished we had an Ac in the room was a little warm but did have a fan.

The carpets were old and were definitely not cleaned like a hotel would be. The entry was a little sketchy with 3 doors to get through. 1 main door 2nd door to upstairs communal living area 3rd to your room. Signs are posted to keep the middle door locked keeping the downstairs neighbors out who look to be permanent residents. As a single traveler, I would be a little more cautious next time. Overall good experience for the price

I had a room with my own bathroom. The bathroom was very clean. The bed, pillows, and linens were clean and she had an extra stock of blankets for the cold snap that came through. Very communicative and on-site. She was very friendly and helpful. The other guests were quiet and polite. Very European with a shared bathroom and kitchen among the guests. She was kind enough to give me the room with its private bathroom.

The place was clean and comfortable, and the host was absolutely delightful. This was a last minute booking because my original plan ended up being uninhabitable. Carina contacted me very soon after I booked the room.

The outside needs to be cleaned up. Trash, rotten food... Also the fan made a lot of noise. Fix those things, and I'd rate a 9/10.

We weren't expecting a B&B atmosphere. We thought we were booking a hotel. We were a bit nervous when we found out it was a home, but Carina went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and safe.

Carina was amazing!! She was very kind to us and patient. She shared valuable information about the city and gave ideas of what to do. When we realized there was a scheduling mix up, she changed our reservation. We were very comfortable and grateful!!

Carina is very nice, caring, and considerate. She made sure that my short stay at Pittsburgh went without a hitch. I like that the place has a very homey and comfortable feel. The neighborhood is pleasant and there is nearby public transport that gets you straight to the downtown area.

The drive back into the centre wasn't very easy.

No breakfast - but the cafe recommended was good. Very eclectic decorations etc. may not suit some people but different from a hotel.

We didn’t stay in this room that we paid for. Our room got changed last 15 mins before we arrived. The room we actually stayed in was super small, queen bed, no AC, window was open, & we saw a mouse scurry across the room under the bed when we first arrived. The bed was also broken & felt like it was folding us in. It had like 3 mattresses on it. The fire alarm kept going off like it had a low battery so we constantly had to press this button in the middle of the alarm to shut it off. Which meant every single alarm in the place which was 4 not including the ones that were in two other rooms that were available for some other people to stay. So those went off the entire time. This place was an apartment like set up with three bedrooms & one full bath & one half bath. So we stayed with other people & didn’t know til we arrived & was told it was going to be a mother daughter & it was a man who never shut the bathroom door and showered & peed with the door open.

Location was prime. Parking was 10/10.
