The bathroom had a lot of bugs on the ceiling and the door wouldn’t close to the bathroom and the toilet kept running water!

Lack of provision in the bath- I.e. no shower gel, lotion, etc. Pool and jacuzzi was very dirty, so we didn’t use it.

Property was clean with exception of the pool. Check in was smooth, staff courteous.

I thought we were reserved a room with a king bed, but two queens may have been cheaper. Regardless, we stayed in a room with two "queen beds" except the beds were doubles, we have a queen bed at home and new immediately that it was more narrow than a queen.

Location was very good. We enjoyed having a bar and a restaurant on the property. I also enjoyed the hot tub multiple time.

I didn't like the 9 police SUV's and K-9 units speeding up to the hotel as I was returning from visiting my mother in the hospital. It was alarming since it was dark and I was traveling alone. Long story short: drunk female guest being obnoxious and rowdy, wouldn't stay in her room. On the other hand, it was comforting how quickly police responded...I guess.

The smoke alarm went off three times during the night. The front desk said their engineer was not available that night & the only solution was to move our room (at 3:30 in the morning- with my two teenagers). HORRIBLE! The soap dispenser (very large & heavy) popped off during my shower & hit my foot. No fan in the bathrooms, so the mirror fogs up & takes 15 minutes before you can use it. The bar was closed at 9:15 pm and we were planning on getting a drink as it is advertised to remain open until 10:00. No refund of money was ever offered, regardless of these issues.

Location was great. Remodel is attractive and rooms were clean. The staff was VERY nice and friendly.

I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay for parking $19 and there was no parking available as there was a 350+ wedding going on. Staff was accommodating by letting us know we can park anywhere in the property.

The rooms really need to be upgraded. It was very gloomy, the bathtub was the worst. I had rust in my tub I didn’t even want to use it. The refrigerator parts missing and needed to be defrosted. Not well cared for.

The pillows were horribly unsupportive. I needed 4 of those squishy pillows just to not wake up with a raging migrane. Also needed to ask for additional towels as only enough for 1 person was provided.

That the tv was larger than other hotels, the shower pressure was perfect, it wasn’t loud. I like that you have to have a key card to go up in the elevators, and check out time was 12pm.

Having to use a room key for the elevator is annoying. Front staff though excellent forgot to tell us this so we spent ten minutes wondering what was wrong. And the rooms are DIRTY.... the rugs, the counters, flat feather pillows...it felt like an ancient motor lodge you'd encounter on highway 50. The sheets were clean but there are no fitted sheets just bizarre mattress pads. Like the desk clerks, the housekeepers are VERY kind and polite and clearly work very hard. its not their fault that these rooms need to be renovated. I believe they have no housekeeping after five pm but someone from the staff can still deliver extras if needed. As the room was just barely stocked with sundries it was appreciated. Clearly this hotel barely survived covid as its once bustling events centers, banquet halls, bars and restaurants were silent, cordoned off or no longer operational. Free coffee and tea would go a long way to bringing some life back in.

The location of the Concord Hilton is great for short walks to eat or shop. Those who are a bit adventurous could even walk the 20 mins or so to Six Flags Concord aqua park which I highly recommend. The staff and housekeeping are very helpful and the lobby is clean. Air conditioning units while older worked great during the heatwave provided the curtains were closed. Best of all the pool was spacious to 8 feet deep and the sun stops beating down on it fairly early in the afternoon which shows some design smarts went into the planning. Views of the sunset are lovely. Expensive but good coffee and tea in the lobby each morning.
