The toilet took several flushes to clear the toilet paper. There was a lot of door slamming going on well after 11:00. The sound proofing could use improvement.

The reception staff were very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

There understaffed. We tried to get glasses and they said they’d be right up 2 hours later they still hadn’t come. I tried to call earlier a couple of times and nobody answered the phone. The next day my husband tried to get a cart and was very rudely told they were being used, they could of politely told him that. And he stood in line for 10 minutes to be treated that way.

It had a nice open feel when you walked in. The grounds are nicely landscaped and clean.

We received two charges on our credit card, deposit & room charge. The room charge was higher than reservation made. We are waiting on final bill, and shouldn't be. It makes for a stressful travel.

The shower didn’t drain. Housekeeping didn’t attend our room when we requested it.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were a very good size. Gym was excellent. Options for breakfast were good and take away meals available in the evening.

My room was on the 3rd floor. I dealt with noisy people above me for hours every night and in the morning . There was a lot of banging noise and every morning someone would start their car up really loud. Also the shower head in my room dripped constantly no matter which way I turned it. Should of complained but I didn’t want to cause a scene But if I decide to stay there again I definitely will. If they would of asked me when I checked out how my stay was then I would of told the management then. Not really a bad place to stay. Just for the few things I experienced.

Did not like getting notified the day before arrival that there would be construction going on. This of course, after the free cancellation deadline. Yes, I would have chosen another hotel. Having to park in the rear, makeshift broken ramps and no real accommodation for handicap. Access to breakfast and lobby were not ideal. If it hadn't been for the construction, I would have rated everything higher. Too bad, because normally it's awesome. Upgrading has to happen, but charging full price for inconvenience of parking and getting around in hotel, well, there should have been a discount.

We have stayed here before. The rooms are nicely appointed, and location to the racetrack and restaurants is perfect.

The only thing I didn’t like was, one of the elevators was being worked on. It had brown paper and blankets hanging and on the floor. Dangerous. And hard to get the cart in.

there was some construction work happening which we weren’t aware of. this resulted in a leak in one of our booked rooms. it was quickly resolved however would have been good to know in advance

The hotel is nice but could use some updates. Towards the end of our stay we were told they were beginning renovations for the whole hotel this month.

Ocean at Hilton Garden Inn was exceptional, his service was professional and extremely helpful for the duration of our stay. He always greeted us with a smile and was ready to assist with great suggestions for food and entertainment ideas, since we weren’t familiar with the area. Truly a great experience.

The chair in my room at the desk was messed up. The first time I sat in it, it went all the way back so that I almost fell out of it. I was unable to find a lock on it so it would stay upright, so I reported it, but it wasn't fixed during my days there.

I just had a small breakfast of oatmeal, muffin and hard boiled egg. It was very good.

Room was run down. Ceiling in bathroom bubbling. Carpets appear dirty. Kids running in hallways. The luggage carts are awful, way too small. The 2 young young women at the desk in the morning were more interested in socializing with each other than helping guests. Moved to a different hotel for my 2nd night.

Great walk location, plenty of amenities.very nice lobby. The young man at the desk in the evening very pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable.
