We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Price quoted to us by Booking. Com was thrown out the window when we arrived by an asst mgr, simply saying that Booking . Com doesn’t know the pricing, increased our cost by 13%…!!
Clean and fresh decor.. the front desk girl Marlo was absolutely a gem, very friendly and could not do enough for us..!

Pool was closed but looked very refreshing :( Coffee machine in the room didn’t work right and kept breaking all of our K-cups open, leaving coffee grounds in our coffee.
Property was in a good location, close to Parris Island.

I didn't realize so many hotels stopped serving coffee all day in the lobby - it was only available in the morning on a temporary folding table.
The breakfast wasn't free so we didn't eat here. The staff were nice. Everything seemed well maintained.

Breakfast was an additional $15 per person. Most places breakfast is included. For the cost to stay here, people should get at least a continental breakfast at no extra charge.

The lighting on the side of the street, and at the backside of the hotel where you enter the hotel is very dark at night which is dangerous and offers safe harbor for would be criminals. There were homeless and others standing around at night after 10pm in 35-degree weather. This does not offer a sense of being safe, and secure at all! We were placed in a room that overlooked the roof of Hilton Garden Inn, and the backside of the front building of the hotel. Not very impressive at all however with this said, there were no curtains to cover the windows to offer privacy. There was see through thin material that waved in the air causing no cover at all. Not very impressive at all as well.
Hilton Garden Inn was close to MCRD Parris Island and offered decent resources for the stay there in the area. Hotel sits off of the main city street or road in the woods next to a river or body of water. At night the front of the hotel has adequate lighting however the back where parking and an entrance into the hotel is available offers complete darkness with homeless and other would-be stragglers, vagrants standing around outside on the sidewalk and street corner. This does not offer confidence or a sense of being safe at all. Now we had a safe, and quiet time while we were there at this facility. Also, there are a lot of restaurants right there by Hilton Garden Inn just a mile or less i.e., Outback, Moe's Southwest Grill, Longhorn Steak House, Red Rooster Cafe, Dos Amigos Mexican, Saltus River Grill, and Bricks on The Boundary just to name a few. Overall, our stay here at Hilton Garden Inn was acceptable, adequate, and appreciated.

The bath tub had long black hairs in it. I rinsed and wiped them out.

While convenient to downtown there weren’t many dining options close by (walking distance). However, I read some of the negative reviews of this property and they do not match my experience.

Make sure the buffet is part of your reservation or you’ll have to pay. Our bathroom needed restocking. No shower gel, lotion, or extra toilet paper.

Elevator speed.
Loved the location. Beds were VERY comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Liked the little lobby convenience store. Awesome access to the main streets and the beautiful islands. Location enables guest to find everything one might want or need during the trip.

Our shower didn’t drain well and the shower faucet leaked. One of the front desk ladies was not very friendly. Charged for breakfast so we didn’t get it.
