Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I loved how clean the room was in the view of the airport was beautiful. Also, the staff overall from the front desk to the bar, and the cooks were phenomenal.

For dinner on arrival night, I ordered a salad with chicken and the chicken tenders were cooked extremely hard; informed the waitress and she brought out another plate of newly friend chicken tenders for my salad and they were cooked just as hard; not very happy with paying almost $18 for a salad that only the good portion was the greens and vegetables; that was the only disappointing thing about the whole Hilton Garden Inn experience.
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a dream with all the separate shower heads.

Nothing to dislike.
Great location, with easy shuttle ride provided by the hotel to and from the airport. We arrived after midnight, and they allowed us a late checkout (noon). And they held our luggage for 6 hours while we waited for our next flight out of Houston. Staff was great, helpful and accommodating, which made our 24-hour delay more enjoyable. The lobby and outdoor area were far nicer place to wait than at the airport. They even provided suggestions on what to do while we waited.

Breakfast options are expensive
The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The proximity to the airport with a free shuttle is ideal. The lobby area is also really nice.

There was nothing I did not like.
I like the fact that the hotel is right next to the airport as my flight was 5am, The hotel shuttle was there in seconds when I asked for the shuttle to the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again.

Restaurant in the hotel was expensive. $12 for a continental breakfast is ridiculous when other hotels have free breakfast included.
Russel who is the guest services front desk person did such a great job. He checked us in early, gave us information about our room and the hotel and then told us how to get transportation to the Houston Space Center. Great job. Keep and promote. Give a commendation.

I believe the shower may have had a mold problem or something because my partner and I began sneezing like crazy and our eyes would begin to burn the moment we would use the shower but anything else, we were normal.
Very friendly and welcoming staff! Beautiful property and amazing views of the airport!

The only downside to this hotel is that the walls are very thin. You can hear the people in the next room. If you have connecting rooms, you can hear the people in the other room very clearly. Some maintenance is also required in the rooms. I notice that some tiles are coming off from the wall.
Very convenient for anyone transiting through Houston Hobby Airport. The hotel offers ample amount of free parking. The hotel itself is very clean and quite well maintained. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and professional. They also serve a good cook to order breakfast. There is also quite a good selection of food available to choose from. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The rooms have a microwave, fridge and a coffee maker. The beds are very comfortable. Overall good hotel to stay.

The day staff (Russ) had outstanding customer service. I guess the night staff did not get the correct training. I was accused of stealing Items that the store did not sale.
